Patents Assigned to Japan Aviation Electronics
  • Publication number: 20240170880
Abstract: A connector includes: terminal that includes a box-like portion, into which a mating terminal is inserted; a housing that has an accommodating hole accommodating the box-like portion; and a retainer that is attached to the housing in a manner to be displaceable in a crossing direction, which crosses with a direction in which the box-like portion is inserted. A pressing piece is formed on an upper surface of the accommodating hole, and a protrusion is formed on the lower surface. The retainer includes a protrusion portion. When the retainer is positioned on the first position, the box-like portion is allowed to be inserted into the accommodating hole and the portion is pushed by the pressing piece and displaced in the crossing direction so as to make a step portion of the box-like portion be retained and a rear end of the box-like portion be retained, producing a primary locking state.

  • Publication number: 20240170890
Abstract: A connector device comprises a connector and a mating connector. The connector and the mating connector are mateable with each other. The connector comprises a housing and a terminal. The housing is provided with an axis portion and a maintenance portion. The mating connector comprises a mating housing and a mating terminal. The mating housing is provided with a mating axis portion and a mating maintenance portion. One of the axis portion and the mating axis portion is a rotation axis with an axis direction. A remaining one of the axis portion and the mating axis portion is a bearing. The connector is rotatable around the rotation axis between an open position and a close position when the axis portion and the mating axis portion are combined with each other. The maintenance portion and the mating maintenance portion temporarily maintain a position of the connector at the open position.

  • Publication number: 20240162653
Abstract: A connector comprises a housing and a connector position assurance (CPA) member. The housing is provided with a repositioning portion, a lock portion and a stopper. The CPA member has a base end portion, a regulating portion, a first arm portion, a distal end portion and a second arm portion. The distal end portion is provided with an abutment portion. The abutment portion is selectively positionable at a facing position or at a non-facing position. At least one of the first arm portion and the distal end portion is provided with a release projection. The release projection projects in a perpendicular direction from the at least one of the first arm portion and the distal end portion. Upon connection of the connector with a mating connector, the release projection is pushed by a mating release portion and moves the abutment portion from the facing position to the non-facing position.

  • Publication number: 20240154344
Abstract: A connector includes a housing, two reinforcing brackets that are incorporated in both respective end portions in a longitudinal direction of the housing, and terminals that are arranged on and held by the housing between the two reinforcing brackets. The housing includes an island-shaped portion, a peripheral wall, and an accommodating concave portion that is formed between the peripheral wall and the island-shaped portion so as to accommodate a fitting portion of a mating connector. Each of the reinforcing brackets includes a protection portion, a guide portion, and a spring strip. The spring strip is formed in a cantilever shape, and the spring strip is positioned on an inner side compared to the protection portion in the longitudinal direction of the housing. A concave portion that allows elastic deformation of the spring strip is formed on a side surface of the island-shaped portion.

  • Patent number: 11978993
Abstract: To prevent both increase in impedance and a short circuit, a connector cable is configured such that a connector and a shielded cable are connected via a relay substrate. The shielded cable includes at least an inner conductor, a dielectric covering the inner conductor, and a shield member covering the dielectric. The inner conductor is connected to a contact of the connector at a part where the shield member and the dielectric are removed to expose the inner conductor. At least directly under a part where the shield member is removed to expose the dielectric, a ground (GND) conductor layer on a front surface of the relay substrate is arranged. The GND conductor layer on the front surface of the relay substrate, which is arranged directly under the part where the shield member is removed, is covered with an insulating member.
