Abstract: An atomic beam is irradiated with a first, a second, and a third laser beam. The first laser beam and the third laser beam each have a wavelength corresponding to a transition between a ground state and a first excited state. The second laser beam has a wavelength corresponding to a transition between the ground state and a second excited state. First, atoms each having a smaller velocity component than a predetermined velocity in a direction orthogonal to the traveling direction of the atomic beam are changed from the ground state to the first excited state by the first laser beam. Subsequently, a momentum is provided for individual atoms in the ground state by the second laser beam, which removes the atoms from the atomic beam. Finally, atoms in the first excited state are returned from the first excited state to the ground state by the third laser beam.

  • Patent number: 11652323
Abstract: In a connector assembly in which a connector that includes an insulator, signal terminals and a ground terminal which are disposed on the insulator, and a shell having conductivity and a mating connector that includes a mating insulator, mating signal terminals and a mating ground terminal which are disposed on the mating insulator, and a mating shell having conductivity are fitted to each other, the shell includes a frame-like portion that is an outer shell of the connector and an extension portion that is extended from the frame-like portion toward an inside of a frame of the frame-like portion, the ground terminal is integrally formed with the extension portion so that the ground terminal is elastically deformable, and the insulator is fixed and held in the shell by pressing a press-fitting portion included in the extension portion into a press-fitted portion of the insulator.

  • Publication number: 20230144692
Abstract: A wireless connector is composed of a pair of units. Each unit includes an annular transmission/reception unit which is provided with a coil used to wirelessly transmit electric power, and formed of a plurality of coil parts, and a main connector portion which is detachably attached to an object from the outside of the object to transmit the electric power to the object. Each unit is assembled such that each unit can be divided into a plurality of non-annular pieces so that the coil can be formed by coupling the plurality of coil parts via a plurality of connectors for coil. When one of the transmission/reception units is attached to the object, the one of the transmission/reception units is arranged so as to oppose the other one of the transmission/reception units in a non-contact manner such that electric power can be wirelessly transmitted therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20230145507
Abstract: A connector includes lead parts and terminal parts to be connected to lands of a substrate, respectively. An anisotropic conductive joining member (ACJM) is mounted in a region where the lead parts are located. The ACJM is a resin in which solder particles are dispersed. The resin can melt at a temperature lower than the melting point of the solder particles. Cream solder is placed on the lands to be connected to the terminal parts. The substrate on which the connector is mounted is passed through a reflow oven to heat both the substrate and the connector. The connection between the terminal parts and the lands by reflow soldering and the connection between the lead parts and the lands via the ACJM 40 are performed simultaneously with each other.

  • Patent number: 11641080
Abstract: A harness comprises a connector body, a cable and a cable-holding portion which holds the cable. The connector body comprises a base portion. The cable is connected to the connector body. The cable has an end portion received in the base portion and a main portion extending rearward from the end portion. The cable-holding portion is formed with a recessed portion which opens at least downward in the upper-lower direction (Z-direction). The base portion has an interference portion. The recessed portion and the interference portion are located at opposite sides of the harness, respectively, in the lateral direction (Y-direction). The recessed portion is, at least in part, located at a position same as that of the interference portion in the front-rear direction (X-direction). The recessed portion is, at least in part, located at a position same as that of the interference portion in the upper-lower direction.

  • Patent number: 11641073
Abstract: A housing of a connector has an end face in a perpendicular direction perpendicular to an up-down direction. A side portion of a guide member is apart from the end face of the housing. The end face of the housing, the side portion of the guide member and supporting portions of the guide member form a receiving portion which guides and receives a protruding block of a mating connector. When the connector is mounted on a substrate, the side portion and the supporting portions are apart from the substrate. Outside the end face of the housing in the perpendicular direction and under the side portion and the supporting portions in the up-down direction, a lower space is formed to communicate with the receiving portion. The guide members 16 is not located in the lower spaces 20 at all.
