Abstract: A reciprocating compressor, comprising a cylinder block (1) having a cylinder bore (12) formed therein, a rear head (3) fixed to the cylinder block through a valve plate (2) and having a suction chamber (26) and a discharge chamber (27) formed therein, a front head (4) fixed to the cylinder block (1) and having a crankcase (6) formed therein, pistons (13) reciprocatingly sliding in the cylinder bore according to the rotation of a shaft (7) installed so as to pass through the crankcase (6), a means for separating lubricating oil mixed in working fluid discharged into the discharge chamber (27), and an oil tank (30) for storing the lubricating oil separated by the oil separation means, wherein the lubricating oil stored in the oil tank (30) is cooled by working fluid sucked from the outside and led into the suction chamber (26), whereby the durability of sliding portions can be increased by effectively cooling the lubricating oil in the compressor to assure excellent lubrication at the sliding portions.
Abstract: A linear actuator, in which a plurality of electromagnets where coils are wound around magnetic materials are provided so as to face each other in a manner where the polarities N and S of the electromagnets alternate at the time of excitation, and magnetic poles of a plurality of permanent magnets that are aligned so as to form a movable member are placed in positions that face the plurality of magnetic poles, in which the permanent magnets extend beyond the portions where the magnetic poles of the electromagnets are provided so as to face and therefore effects are attained that a stable force of magnetic attraction in the direction of the stroke is obtained and peeling and cracking of the permanent magnet are prevented.

Abstract: A recording medium includes first information selected from a plurality of information patterns and second information selected from another plurality of information patterns for the true-false judgement. A true-false judging device performs a statistic analysis when any coincidence is found between the readout combination of the first and second information and registered combination patterns, to identify an inspected recording medium as a forged product based on the result of the statistic analysis.
Abstract: An objective of the present invention is to provide a phosphorous-containing siliceous material having a specific permittivity of not more than 3.5. The phosphorus-containing silazane composition according to the present invention is characterized by comprising a polyalkylsilazane and at least one phosphorus compound in an organic solvent. A phosphorus-containing siliceous film may be formed by coating the composition onto a substrate to form a film which is then prebaked at a temperature of 50 to 300° C. and is then baked in an inert atmosphere at a temperature of 300 to 700° C. The phosphorus compound according to the present invention is preferably a pentavalent phosphoric ester or phosphazene compound.
Abstract: For example, by providing MMF software 10, 11 transferring data using a memory-mapped file respectively in a semiconductor manufacturing apparatus 1 and in an input signal analyzing system 8, data transfer load placed on control software 4 and analyzing software 9 is reduced. Abstract: An apparatus for embedding a watermark into contents data includes a parameter converting device for converting a parameter of first contents data to generate second contents data. A mixing device operates for embedding parameter information into the second contents data as watermark information. Abstract: A rewritable optical disc has a laminate of first and second recording layers with first and second trial write areas respectively. Sections of the first trial write area are sequentially used in an order accorded with a direction from an outer disc edge toward an inner disc edge. Sections of the second trial write area are sequentially used in an order accorded with a direction from the inner disc edge toward the outer disc edge. The distance between an innermost used section of the first trial write area and an outermost used section of the second trial write area is calculated. A decision is made as to whether or not the calculated distance is greater than a threshold value. All the used sections in the first and second trial write areas are subjected to signal erasure when the calculated distance is not greater than the threshold value.
Abstract: A method of forming a film having a low dielectric constant, comprises the steps of: placing a substrate between an upper electrode and a lower electrode inside a reaction chamber, introducing a silicon-containing hydrocarbon compound source gas, an additive gas, and an inert gas into a space between the upper and lower electrodes by controlling a gas flow ratio, generating a plasma by applying RF power to the space between the upper and lower electrodes in a state in which an interval between the upper electrode and the substrate is narrower in the vicinity of a center of the substrate than that in the vicinity of its periphery, and forming a film having a low dielectric constant on the substrate at a deposition rate of less than approx. 790 nm/min by controlling a flow rate of the process gas.
Abstract: An apparatus for measuring skin permeable gas, which can be used to obtain clinical information by noninvasive and bloodless operations and are useful for in-home medical care and health management. The device for collecting skin permeable gas includes a cylindrical member including a spiral groove, a cover disposed on the upper surface of the cylindrical member, a gas-introducing section connected to the cover, a gas delivery section connected to the cover, and a sealing member for sealing the groove of the cylindrical member and for maintaining air contained in the groove at a predetermined temperature. After components in the air maintained at a predetermined temperature are analyzed, the sealing member is detached from the cylindrical member and the cylindrical member from which the sealing member is detached is then brought into intimate contact with skin of a subject to collect the skin permeable gas.

Abstract: In one half portion of one surface of a substrate there are formed in parallel V-grooves of the same depth, in which optical fibers and are disposed and positioned with their axes held at a height H1 with respect to the surface. The optical fibers and have lens portions formed integrally therewith at one end, and the end faces of the lens portions are tilted at an angle ?? from their axes. A beam splitter is mounted on the substrate on a center line between elongations of the optical fibers, and light emitted from the lens portion propagates through space and is launched in focused form into the beam splitter, and a portion of the incident light is reflected, which propagates space and is launched in focused form into the lens portion and propagates through the optical fiber. The light having passed through the beam splitter is launched into a light receiving element.
