Patent number: 7111616Abstract: A starting apparatus of a diaphragm-type carburetor, a starting pump disposed at a convenient and accessible location which is separate from a carburetor main body, and air is prevented from being mixed into fuel, in such a structure constructed as a suction-type starting pump. A suction passage extends from a fuel metering chamber and extends beyond an outer portion of the carburetor main body. A starting pump conveniently disposed is separate from the carburetor, and an inlet check valve of the starting pump is disposed in the carburetor main body so as to reduce a volumetric capacity of a section extending to the inlet check valve from the fuel metering chamber, thereby preventing the air from remaining within the suction passage.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2004Date of Patent: September 26, 2006Assignee: Zama Japan Co., Ltd.Inventors: Koken Oyamada, Mamoru Toda

Publication number: 20060212424Abstract: This invention relates to the subject matter identified in the title. An effective interaction is conducted by giving the user adequate information during information search so as to improve the search efficiency and accuracy. A CPU initially sets a set G containing deleted solution candidates to null and receives input for a search question Q from the user (S1). The CPU refers to a database storage section and creates a solution candidate set F as the result of the search of the database (D) in response to the search question Q by using the similarity of labels defined by a thesaurus T or a subset R of the thesaurus T (S2). The CPU presents the user the information concerning the solution candidates and search question Q as the help for interaction on a display part (S3). The user can check if there is a solution among the solution candidates.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 17, 2001Publication date: September 21, 2006Applicant: Japan Science and Technology CorporationInventor: Koiti Hasida

Publication number: 20060211849Abstract: In an in-flow chemical reaction system (A) of the present invention, a sample solution (1) containing glycoprotein is injected into a reaction tube (7) in which an alkaline solution continuously flows. When a mixed solution of the sample solution and the alkaline solution reach a thermostat bath (6), reaction for cleaving a glycoside linkage takes place, thereby separating a carbohydrate chain from glycoprotein. From the solution containing the carbohydrate chain, alkali is removed by using an ion-exchange column (12), so that a fraction of a carbohydrate chain (14) is collected into a sample tube (13). In the in-flow chemical reaction system (A), reaction takes place in minutes, so that reaction time is significantly reduced compared to a conventional method. Thus, a glycoside linkage is readily cleaved with high precision in a short time, thereby separating carbohydrate from a glycoside-linkage-having compound.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 21, 2004Publication date: September 21, 2006Applicant: Japan Science and Technology AgencyInventor: Kazuaki Kakehi
