Abstract: A fastener system for securing a panel to a frame comprises one or more rotating fasteners installed in the perimeter edge of the panel. In operation, one or more cam surfaces of the fastener engage receiving surfaces of a receiver on the frame such that, upon rotation of each fastener, the panel is drawn toward the frame. In some embodiments, the panel is moved in a first direction parallel to the panel and a second direction perpendicular to the panel or in a composite diagonal direction inclined relative to the panel. The fastener system may facilitate compression of seals disposed along the perimeter edge of the panel and between a side of the panel and rabbet ledge of the frame and may further facilitate removal and maintenance of the panel.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a pivot bar for a tiltable sash window where the pivot bar is designed for mounting along an exterior surface of a sash frame. The pivot bar includes a first leg positioned within a channel formed on the stile of the sash frame and a second leg positioned within a channel formed on the bottom rail of the sash frame. In a coupled configuration, the pivot bar wraps around the exterior surface of the corner of the sash frame where the stiles and bottom rail meet.
Abstract: An assembly for a door or window frame including an elongated sill and a corner key attached to each end of the sill. The corner key includes a water chamber for collecting water therein and a plurality of ports for diverting water from the water chamber outwardly through a drain port. The water chamber and plurality of ports are designed to temper a high-pressure gradient in the sill and effectively promote water egress away from the sill.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a sliding fenestration system assembly, such as a door or window system. The sliding fenestration system includes a sill having a first track channel and a second track channel formed thereon. A sill track including a first track segment, a second track segment, and a third track segment is coupled to the sill such that the first track segment is positioned within the first track channel, the third track segment is positioned within the second track channel, and the second track segment extends between the first and second track channels. The system further includes a sliding panel having one or more bottom guide assemblies, the assemblies engaging the sill track and operable to accommodate movement of the sliding panel along the sill track to reduce friction at a sealing interface between the sliding panel and the fenestration frame assembly.

Abstract: A fenestration unit configured to support a shootbolt locking system includes a panel including a panel frame with a stile member and a rail member that are attached by a corner joint. The stile and rail members are elongate and extend along a respective linear axis. The stile member is configured to receive and support at least part of the shootbolt locking system. The stile member includes a stile end with a first wall, and the rail member includes a rail end with a second wall. The corner joint includes a first bracket and a second bracket that are attached together. The first bracket is disposed within the stile end. The first wall is disposed between the first and second brackets. The second bracket projects away from the stile member, and the second bracket is received within the rail end and attached to the second wall.
