Abstract: In a method for producing a backrest rear panel from at least one organic sheet, a plurality of reinforcing beads and a frame-shaped bead, which circles the reinforcing beads, are formed in at least one organic sheet. In a molding tool, a rib structure is formed in the circling frame-shaped bead on the rear of the backrest rear panel in such a manner that a rib structure closes flush with the rear of the backrest rear panel, with the result that an even surface is formed on the rear of the backrest rear panel. A bonded connection is formed between the organic sheet and rib structure with the result that a one-piece component is formed.

Abstract: A locking device for a headrest has a headrest rod, a guide sleeve for the headrest rod and a blocking element. The blocking element is displaceable relative to the guide sleeve between a locking position, in which the blocking element is in engagement with a recess in the headrest rod, and a unlocking position, in which the blocking element is not in engagement with recesses in the headrest rod. The blocking element is pivotable in relation to the guide sleeve about an axis of rotation parallel to the headrest rod. The blocking element is mounted in the guide sleeve such that, when there is a relative rotational movement between the guide sleeve and the headrest rod, the blocking element rotates at least partially jointly in conjunction with the headrest rod about the axis of rotation.

Abstract: A head rest for a vehicle seat includes: at least one first section that is oriented towards the head of the seat occupant, a second section, and a third section, wherein the second section is arranged essentially between the first and third sections. In the event of an accident, the first section can be displaced in the direction of displacement, due to the effect of a relative displacement of the second section from a working position into a safety position in the direction of the head of the seat occupant. Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly method for forming a seating structure for a vehicle seat, having a cross support (2) and a side support (3). For this purpose the cross support comprises at least one detent means (15), and the side support has at least one complementary detent means (8). During assembly, the detent means and the complementary detent means engage in each other, wherein the side support and the assembly support are positioned substantially perpendicular to each other. The cross support encompasses the side support for the engagement. The invention further relates to a seating structure produced in this way.
