The pipe portions are passed through the through-holes of the first and second annular members. Fixed members of the cage each have a shaft portion passed through one of the pipe members. An outer face of each pipe member is engaged with both an inner peripheral face that defines a corresponding one of the through-holes of the first annular member and an inner peripheral face that defines a corresponding one of the through-holes of the second annular member, with a frictional force.

    Abstract: An electrode production system is configured so that a metal foil is folded back a plurality of times and conveyed by a plurality of rollers that are disposed for a coating device, a drying device and a pressing device. A coating process, a drying process and a pressing process are serially performed by the coating device, the drying device and the pressing device, respectively, by using the rollers. This makes it possible to unwind the rolled metal foil and convey the metal foil in the up-and-down direction. The coating device, the drying device and the pressing device can be integrated and thus the size of the electrode production system can be reduced. Furthermore, since a small-size electrode production system can be configured, it is easy to install the electrode production system in a clean and dry environment.

    Abstract: A steering control system for a vehicle includes an electric motor, a torque sensor, an angular velocity sensor, and a control unit. The electric motor applies assist force to a turning operation of a steering wheel. The torque sensor detects a torque generated in a steering system including the steering wheel and varying with the turning operation. The angular velocity sensor detects an angular velocity generated in the steering system and varying with the turning operation. The control unit computes an assist control amount for the turning operation by using the torque and the angular velocity, and, when an abnormality occurs in a torque detection operation, increases a control amount computed by using the angular velocity among control amounts that constitute the assist control amount as compared to that when torque sensor operation is normal and executes drive control over the electric motor based on the assist control amount.

The two cylinder heads (6, 7) are therefore positioned in a very accurate manner relative to one another, before injecting the overmolding plastic material. The invention can be used for the production of torque sensors used in the power-steering systems of automobiles.
