Patents Assigned to Jumberca, S.A.
  • Patent number: 4038838
Abstract: The invention comprises an improved apparatus and method for producing knit fabrics having terry loops on both the technical front and technical back sides of a ground fabric in which the terry loops are interconnected or knitted jointly with the ground yarn into the base fabric and are thus securely held therein. Novel needle latch arresting elements and improved sinker designs eliminate severing of previously formed loops incorporated in the ground fabric.

  • Patent number: 3977215
Abstract: A knitting machine wherein the needle selection is performed electromagnetically by a programmed control. The selector members may occupy an operative and an inoperative position, being associated with resilient recovery means tending to urge said members constantly to one of said positions. They are retained in the other said position by the electromagnetic means and are moved to said other position by cocking members driven by means located essentially on a transmission jack housed in the needle bed, which in turn is driven by the selector members.

  • Patent number: 3955380
Abstract: A knitting machine in which the needle selection is performed electromagnetically from a programmed control. Selectors having spring return means are adapted to occupy an operative position in which they engage means for moving the needles to their working position. The selectors are attached to the knitting machine frame and are moved against said spring means by cocking members mechanically connected to the knitting machine needle bed drive means. An electromagnetic holding means attached to the machine frame and associated with the cocking members is arranged selectively to hold the selectors in the cocked position when driven by a programmed control synchronised with the needle bed movement and with the selection device.
