Abstract: A snow-trail grooming vehicle has a driving chain or track system and a cable assist pulling system having a cable winch. A method for controlling the cable winch includes the steps of detecting the speed of the driving chain, detecting the speed of the cable, comparing the detected speed of the driving chain and the detected speed of the cable, and determining a desired value for the speed of the cable, then controlling the cable winch to attain the desired value for the speed of the cable.
Abstract: A piste-maintenance tracklaying vehicle including a vehicle control unit and an internal combustion engine. The internal combustion engine is drivingly connected via a gear to a drive sprocket of at least one track. Accessory drives for additional devices are mountable on the tracklaying vehicle, and may include vehicle components such as a tilting device for a platform and driver's cab or track tensioner. An internal combustion engine is connected via a generator and at least one electric motor and a gear to each drive sprocket. In overrun mode an electric motor is switchable as a current generator for accessory drives designed as electrohydraulic or electric drives. The electric drive for a shaft of said additional device is electrically synchronized with the electric motor of said drive sprocket through the vehicle control unit.
Abstract: A spur wheel for the chain drive assembly of a tracked vehicle on which the guide elements of a chain roll during the operation of the chain drive assembly is provided. Certain parts of the spur teeth which come in contact with the rolling area of the guide elements are designed as removable, replaceable parts.
Abstract: A vehicle, especially for beach cleaning, with a vehicle frame on which a front wheel axle and a rear wheel axle are arranged, is known in the art. According to the invention, the vehicle frame is divided into a front section and a rear section, which are connected to one another by an articulated bearing with a vertical steering type axle.
Abstract: A tracked vehicle with a drive system, which performs driving, braking, directional change, and steering functions as a function of corresponding control commands from an electronic control unit. According to the invention, at least one separate brake system, which operates without current, is provided, which can be enabled by at least one actuating element, which also acts in the absence of current, when a function parameter exceeds or falls below at least one limit value.
Abstract: A course-grooming vehicle with a rear tool carrier, to which a course-grooming device can be detachably connected, where the height and/or the angle of the rear tool carrier and/or of the course-grooming device can be varied by means of at least one adjusting element, and with an electronic control unit, which actuates the minimum of one adjusting element, is known. At least one sensor for the direct or indirect detection of an actual state of the surface of the course to be groomed by the course-grooming device is provided, which sensor is connected to the control unit, the control unit comprising a memory for storing at least one characteristic diagram and an evaluation unit, which compares the actual values detected by the sensor with corresponding nominal values of the characteristic diagram and which, as a function of the result of the evaluation, actuates the minimum of one adjusting element accordingly.
