  • Patent number: 10786815
Abstract: A rotor for a device for disintegrating feed material, comprising a drive shaft, a plurality of rotor disks mounted on the drive shaft, and disintegration tools arranged in the region of the outer circumference of the rotor disks. A holding flange is provided for each rotor disk for connecting the rotor disk to the drive shaft, wherein the holding flange is permanently connected to the drive shaft and detachably connected to the rotor disk. Devices for disintegrating feed material, in particular impact hammer mills, may thus be operated with a rotor, in which the risk of a shaking out and a lateral wandering of the rotor disks is largely eliminated.

Abstract: Desert sand is treated to be used as an aggregate for concrete, a method for producing an aggregate for concrete is provided, and to an aggregate for concrete is provided. The aggregate is obtained by crushing desert sand in a high-pressure roller press, wherein, in a first stage, the desert sand in a bed is crushed by pressure exposure, and then forms agglomerates. In a second stage, the agglomerates are disrupted by further mechanical exposure. The pressure exposure in the first stage is accomplished by a single pressing between two surfaces at more than 50 MPa pressure. Aggregate produced in this way results in substantially greater concrete strength than when untreated desert sand is added.

  • Patent number: 10260809
Abstract: A method and a corresponding plant for denitrifying bypass exhaust gases in a cement clinker production plant. Raw meal is sintered in a rotary kiln and deacidified in a calciner. A rotary kiln inlet chamber is connected to the calciner directly or by a riser duct. Bypass exhaust gas is drawn off near the inlet chamber. This exhaust gas is guided into a first mixing chamber, in which the exhaust gas is cooled to between 800 and 950 degrees C., then the exhaust gas is guided through a reaction pipeline segment, wherein the dwell time is between 0.5 and 3 seconds and ammonia, aqueous ammonia solution, or ammonia-releasing substances are injected for denitrification. Then the exhaust gas is guided into a second mixing chamber, in which the exhaust gas is cooled to between 150 250 degrees C. Then the exhaust gas is guided to a filter for dust removal.

  • Patent number: 10159984
Abstract: A method for making recesses in the surface of a roller for a rolling press. A thermal treatment is applied to a cylindrical roller surface by heating the surface in a region of the desired recesses until the material properties of the roller surface change permanently, i.e., even after cooling, with respect to the hardness of the roller material. The thermally treated regions produce a softer material in those regions than in the surrounding surface of the roller. By virture of a first start-up of the rolling press with abrasive material to be comminuted, the desired profiling is formed spontaneously due to a wearing down of the soft regions to form the desired recesses. The thermal treatment represent a particularly simple and cost-effective method for profiling rolling rollers, and in particular, rolling rollers which have already become worn, which that thereby be readily refurbished.

  • Patent number: 9975806
Abstract: A plant for producing cement clinker, comprising as viewed in the direction of materials flow, a heat exchanger to preheat raw meal, a downstream calciner to calcine the raw meal, a rotary kiln to sinter the calcined raw meal, and a clinker cooler to cool the sintered cement clinker. A combustion device which carbonizes, pyrolysis or burns difficult fuels, is embodied as a pot reactor or gooseneck reactor in an inverted U-shape, and is positioned upstream of the calciner on the flow path of the exhaust gases from the rotary kiln to the calciner, and has a gas outlet that opens out above a tertiary-air line of the clinker cooler into the calciner. As a result, it becomes possible to burn fuel which is lumpy and/or has poor ignitability, and the gases from incomplete combustion in the reactor are available in the calciner in gaseous form for further combustion.

  • Patent number: 9725362
Abstract: A method for using waste heat from a cement producing plant, wherein heat of a process gas is used through a heat exchanger, which comprises a sequence of cyclones, for heating raw mix. A cement producing plant having at least one calcinator and at least one heat exchanger, which comprises a series of cyclones for heating raw mix. • Patent number: 9388073
Abstract: A plant for producing cement, having a first stage for crushing raw material to form raw powder, a second stage for calcination and sintering of the raw powder to form cement clinker, a third stage for cooling the sintered cement clinker, and a fourth stage for crushing the sintered cement clinker to form cement. The first stage for crushing raw material to form raw powder and the fourth stage for crushing the sintered cement clinker to form cement are structurally combined. In this way, during servicing or repair of one crushing stage, the plant need not be shut down because, y variable circuitry switching, the crushing stages permit plant operation with reduced production output.

  • Publication number: 20160039714
Abstract: A method for operating a plant for producing cement clinker from raw meal having, as viewed in the materials flow direction, at least one calciner for deacidifying the raw meal, and at least one rotary kiln for sintering the deacidified raw meal to form cement clinker. The deacidified raw meal, after passing through the calciner, flows via a cyclone preheating stage into the rotary kiln. Exhaust gases are guided from the rotary kiln into a reactor, arranged between the rotary kiln and the calciner, with fuel being fed into the reactor superstoichiometrically in relation to the dwell time of the exhaust gases in the reactor, so that carbon dioxide in the exhaust gases is reduced to form carbon monoxide. The carbon monoxide is used as a reducing agent for nitrogen oxides, which are chemically reduced in the reactor independently of the short dwell time in the calciner.
