  • Patent number: 7690883
Abstract: A device for stacking articles which are molded and stamped in a multi-impression molding and stamping tool includes a transfer device having a single gripper plate made of lightweight construction for accepting all articles ejected from one work cycle of the molding and stamping tool. A stacking station having two stacking baskets arranged on respective arms is arranged so that the baskets are pivotable about a first axis for moving a first basket of the two baskets to a transfer position and a second basket of the two baskets to an ejection position, the transfer device transferring the articles to the transfer position of the stacking station. An ejector unit and conveyor belt are arranged proximate the ejection position, each of the first and second baskets being pivotable about a second axis, perpendicular to the first axis, at the ejection position to a pivoted position.

  • Patent number: 6627028
Abstract: In a method for simultaneously welding to one another the layers of several pairs of thermoplastic foils arranged in a stack, a primary heat energy source is positioned between two pairs of thermoplastic foils, and welding heat energy is supplied to the two pairs via the primary heat energy source. The press for performing this method has two pressing elements for applying pressure to the stack of n pairs of layers of thermoplastic foils. The two pressing elements are positioned at opposite ends of the stack and force the layers of the pairs of thermoplastic foils toward one another. A stacked arrangement of n−1 flat, bar-shaped heating elements is aligned with the two pressing elements. Between two adjacent heating elements a respective pair of thermoplastic foils is received such that the pairs of thermoplastic foils alternate with the heating elements. The stacked arrangement of the heating elements is arranged in a plane that is perpendicular to the planes of the thermoplastic foils.

  • Patent number: 6589041
Abstract: The apparatus for shaping thermoplastic materials, in particular for producing moulded parts with a large height of the moulded part, comprises a suction-pressure bell and a lower part which can be locked to each other by a locking device. Resting on the lower part are a mould and a clamping frame, while the upper clamping frame can be securely clamped by working cylinders. In the locked state, the clamping frames are braced by a seal, which is arranged between the suction-pressure bell and the upper clamping frame. The seal extends over the entire circumference of the suction-pressure bell and is able to be pressed against the upper clamping frame by a pressure medium.

  • Patent number: 6589042
Abstract: An apparatus for shaping thermoplastic materials or for laminating backing parts includes a turntable driven by a rotary drive and having rests for receiving supporting devices for lower molds or backing parts. The turntable has a plurality of receiving places which can enter alternately into a preliminary blowing box, where a molded part can be shaped in conjunction with an upper mold arranged on an upper table. The preliminary blowing box has a front wall with an opening, facing the rotary drive. The turntable has a separating wall with flanges on both side which engage a wall indentation which surrounds the rotary drive and consequently bounds the preliminary blowing box, in order to seal the opening. A seal which can be shaped by means f a pressure medium and can be pressed against the separating wall is located in the front wall of the preliminary blowing box about the opening.

  • Publication number: 20010033877
Abstract: An apparatus for shaping thermoplastic materials or for laminating backing parts has a turntable (3) which can be rotated by means of a rotary drive (2) and comprises rests (26, 27) for receiving supporting devices (28) for molds and or backing parts (15). The turntable has a plurality of receiving places which are able to enter alternately into a preliminary blowing box (9), where the shaping of the moulded part to be produced takes place in conjunction with a mold arranged on an upper table (6). For sealing the opening (11) in the front wall (10), facing the rotary drive (2), of the preliminary blowing box (9), the turntable has a separating wall (12) which grips with flanges (21, 22) on both sides over a wall indentation (20), which surrounds the rotary drive and consequently bounds the preliminary blowing box.

  • Patent number: 4439041
Abstract: A feed bushing for single-screw extruders for the plasticizing extrusion of plastics under a high inertia resistance comprising an outer casing, a grooved bushing enclosed in the outer casing, and a cooling system. The groove bushing is assembled from a tubular grooved inset and a tubular reinforcement surrounding the grooved inset, the inset being shrink-fitted into the reinforcement with such a high shrinkage allowance that the inset is prestressed for pressure by the reinforcement for withstanding the maximum forces of inertia of the screw received in the grooved bushing. The grooved inset of the grooved bushing is made of cemented carbide, a metal oxide or other extremely hard and wear-resistant material. The reinforcement element is made of high-strength ductile steel.
