  • Patent number: 10703583
Abstract: The invention relates to a stacking station for a thermoforming installation, to a method for producing cup-shaped products in a thermoforming installation and to a thermoforming installation equipped therewith. Ejecting products out of a film plane onto an additional conveyor belt using a pusher is known. The additional conveyor belt first brings the products to a tilting device. After actuation of the tilting device, the products lie on their side and are conveyed onward from there. The present invention provides first pre-stacking the products coming from the ejector, to then tilt them, preferably by way of their own weight, and to stack them only once they are lying.

  • Patent number: 10668669
Abstract: The aim of the invention is to avoid the risk of contamination of a bag for medical purposes, in particular to significantly reduce the amount of residual particles of material during the cutting of a tube for access to the bag. The invention proposes a system (1) for producing a bag for medical purposes comprising a tube transfer station (2) having transfer means (3) for transferring a tube (11), which is being transported towards the tube transfer station (2), to a holder (10) and for separating there a tube section (17) transferred to the holder (10) from a remainder (18) of the tube (11), in order to then render the separated tube section (17) connectible to two film layers to form an access to the bag.

  • Patent number: 10531978
Abstract: A system for the production of a medical product, above all in the form of an ostomy bag, as well as a method for operation of such a system, uses a highly flexible modular system concept, in which individual feed lines for semi-finished products are provided. The feed lines can transfer semi-finished products to a main line in pre-assembled manner. In the main line, ultimate processing of the semi-finished products to produce the finished product or a further semi-finished product takes place, with the greatest possible work precision, in contrast to conventional systems that guide different film systems in different planes at a distance from one another, to allow pre-processing steps, before bringing the films together in one plane and welded to one another.

  • Patent number: 10464256
Abstract: A method for folding over an edge of a decorative layer, a fold-over system, a method for converting a fold-over system, and an interior trim part. To reduce cycle times and to achieve excellent quality of the produced laminated parts at the same time, a method is provided wherein the fold-over slide for fixing the edge of the decorative layer is cooled by means of an active cooling means. Alternatively or cumulatively, the fold-over slide according to the invention is heated by means of an active heating means. In a preferred embodiment, a heating fluid flows through the fold-over slide when the fold-over slide is already pressing the adhesive into the adhesive joint, such that the hot-melt adhesive is activated. Then, under persistent contact pressure, the fold-over slide is cooled until fixation occurs. Then the fold-over slide is removed, and the carrier part can be exchanged.
