The accessory mounting fixture includes a fixture body connectable to a vehicle surface and having a substantially U-shape defining a frontal opening and adapted to receive an accessory portion. The accessory mounting fixture also includes a locking assembly adapted to selectively secure the accessory portion within the frontal opening. The locking assembly has a first lock member pivotally connected to the fixture body on a first side of the frontal opening and a second lock member pivotally connected to the fixture body on the second side of the frontal opening. The first and second locking members are operable between a closed position for confining the accessory portion within the frontal opening, and an open configuration. Positioning the first and second lock members in the closed position secures the accessory portion within the frontal opening.

Abstract: A retractable wheel system for a snowmobile ski is provided. The system includes a support plate connectable to the snowmobile ski, an actuator operatively coupled to the support plate and having a driver segment and a driven segment adapted to cooperate to define a double-pivot assembly, and a wheel coupled to the double-pivot assembly. The wheel is movable along a first trajectory between a stowed position, where the wheel is spaced from a ground surface, and an intermediary position, where the wheel contacts the ground surface. The wheel is further movable along a second trajectory between the intermediary position and a deployed position, where the wheel is in engagement with the ground surface and provides lift to the snowmobile ski relative to the ground surface.

The ventilation system further has a pressurizing subsystem adapted to admit a pressurizing airflow within the cavity to create a high-pressure zone and a low-pressure zone within the cavity, wherein when in use, the wearer exhales air within the low-pressure zone, and wherein the high-pressure zone prevents air within the cavity from travelling from the low-pressure zone to the high-pressure zone. A method of evacuating humid air from the cavity is also provided.

The mounting assembly also has a mounting fixture connectable to the connector and adapted to selectively have a portion of the accessory be connected thereto, the mounting fixture is connected to the connector in a manner such that moving the connector along the slot correspondingly displaces the mounting fixture along the elongated rail to adjust the position of the accessory on the vehicle.

The visor has an inner surface facing a cavity of the helmet shell and an outer surface, and is provided with a heating system. The visor assembly further has a connection assembly including an electrical connector located on the outer surface of the visor proximate a front portion thereof. The electrical connector is operatively connected to the heating system and is adapted to be connected to a power cable for providing electrical power to the heating system. The visor assembly also includes a cable retaining element located on the outer surface of the visor proximate one of the visor mounting sections. The cable retaining element has a clip adapted to removably attach the power cable on the visor.

The left liner portion includes a left chin segment, and the right liner portion includes a right chin segment, with the chin segments being configured to engage one another proximate a front section of the helmet. The liner assembly also includes a central liner portion engageable between the left and right liner portions and having an outer surface complementarily shaped relative to a central portion of the inner surface portion for engagement therewith.

Abstract: A pair of electric goggles is disclosed. The goggles include a conductive lens mounted onto a frame adapted to be electrically connected to an electric socket in order to raise the temperature of the lens, when powered. The goggles are provided with a strap for attaching to a helmet, the strap has a strap clip designed to have the electric socket attached thereto. The electric socket is meant to be electrically connected to a power supply via a power cable. With the combination of a strain relief clip located below the electric socket, the power cable can be positioned in a predetermined configuration, which unencumbers the user from the power cable when detaching or removing the goggles.

Abstract: A helmet having a cheek pad is provided. The helmet for use with the cheek air pad includes an outer shell having an inside surface, an inner liner surrounding the head of the user and operatively mounted to the helmet outer shell, a chin bar disposed below the face visor, the chin bar having an inside surface facing toward the person when wearing the helmet and a breath guard. The inner liner generally has an inner face and a transparent face visor is attached to the helmet outer shell. The cheek pad is preferably embodied as a deformable element extending upwardly and/or inwardly from the helmet inner liner on the right and/or left inner side of the face visor or goggles. The deformable element is configured to be in contact with the face of the user and the inner edge of the breath guard and the inner liner.

The visor assembly includes a visor pivotally connected to the helmet shell and having an inner surface facing the cavity when in the lowered position. The visor assembly further includes a breath guard interface provided below the visor and a breath guard which has a visor interface connected to the breath guard interface of the visor assembly. The breath guard includes a flexible member connected to and extending from the visor interface and a contact surface shaped and configured to engage the wearer's face around the nose and mouth for deflecting humid air away from the inner surface of the visor. The flexible member has a channel extending along the visor interface having a substantially V-shaped cross-section configured to allow the flexible member to be deformed when raising the visor.

Abstract: The present disclosure concerns a trunk for an all-terrain vehicle comprising a hollow base defining a storage space, one removable lid partially connectable to the hollow base and movable between a closed position in which the storage space is covered, and an opened position for providing access to the storage space, the removable lid being removably connected to the hollow base via a dismantlable hinge comprising a hinge pin selectively connecting a portion of the removable lid with a portion of the hollow base, the dismantlable hinge being dismantlable when said the removable lid is in its opened position, the trunk further comprising a blocking device preventing dismantling of the dismantlable hinge when the removable lid is in its closed position. The disclosure also concerns a method for removing a removable lid covering a storage space defined by a hollow base of a trunk.
