Abstract: A can bottle in a bottomed, cylindrical configuration, which is constructed of a metal material has a cylindrical side wall and a bottom joined to and integrated with the side wall. The said bottom includes domed portions that flex and extend downwardly and outwardly, and flexed support legs formed by extending a plurality of peripheral edge sites of the domed portions arranged at uniform angles further downwardly and outwardly in a flexed fashion. The bottom satisfies a condition: 1.04?R3/D?1.67 where R3 (mm) is the radius of curvature that defines the curvature of the domed portion at the bottom, and D (mm) is the diameter of the cylindrical side wall. In addition ribs are formed at possible grounding sites of the flexed support legs at said bottom in a direction crossing the radial direction.

  • Patent number: 8186301
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for manufacturing a gas barrier plastic container which simultaneously satisfies the condition that the same vacuum chamber can be used even when the container shapes are different, the condition that a high-frequency power source is unnecessary, and the condition that film formation can be carried out for a plurality of containers inside one vacuum chamber in order to make the apparatus low cost. In an apparatus for forming a film on the inner surface of a container, a thermal catalyst is supported on a source gas supply pipe, and the source gas supply pipe is inserted into the port of the container, followed by film formation. In an apparatus for forming a film on the outer surface of a container, a thermal catalyst is arranged on the periphery of the plastic, and a source gas is blown out through the source gas supply pipe while bringing the source gas into contact with the thermal catalyst for film formation.

  • Publication number: 20120121790
Abstract: Provided is an alcohol-free beer-like malt beverage from wort added with hop component without fermentation, having reduced off-flavor intrinsic to a malt beverage and suppressed nasty smell derived from hop, and retaining an aromatic component of hop. Produced is an alcohol-free beer-like malt beverage having reduced off-flavor and retaining an aromatic component of hop without fermentation, unlike a conventional non-alcohol beer production process, by controlling the content of a hop-derived aromatic component, myrcene, ?-humulene or ?-selinene, in the beer-like malt beverage to a specific value. In the present invention, the content of a hop-derived aromatic component in the beer-like malt beverage is controlled by controlling the addition timing or additive amount of hop and/or a hop essential-oil component during a wort-boiling step or the addition amount of a hop essential-oil component in a step after the wort-boiling step.

Abstract: It is to provide a method that enables manufacture of beer or HAPPOSHU with good fermentation with yeast and having rich flavor, by improving the fermentability of premature yeast flocculation malt (PYF malt) (malt comprising factors causing early flocculation of yeast) even when PYF malt is used in the manufacture of beer or HAPPOSHU. In the manufacture of beer or HAPPOSHU using premature yeast flocculation malt (PYF malt), tannic acid is added and treated to wort and/or yeast used for fermentation, to improve the fermentability of premature yeast flocculation malt. In the present invention, in order to improve fermentability of early flocculatin malt, tannic acid is added and treated to wort before addition of yeast or to wort fermentation solution after adding yeast, or to yeast for adding to wort, in the manufacturing step of beer or HAPPOSHU. Preferred tannic acids used in the present invention include gallotannin, tara-tannin, gallic tannin (hydrolysable tannin) and persimmon tannin (condensed tannin).
