A pad retaining clip, which is retained on the brake caliper and which spans an installation opening, is supported on the brake pads. The pad retaining clip is fastened to a form closure element of at least one brake pad so as to be secured against movement.

Abstract: An adjusting device is disclosed for adjusting friction surface wear on brake linings and a brake disk of a disk brake. The adjusting device is couplable to a brake application device on the drive side, and to a spindle unit of the disk brake on the output side. The adjusting device includes a drive element on both sides of which a rolling element assembly is axially arranged; a pressure element; an output element coupled to the pressure element for coupling to a coupling wheel; an energy storage element; and a support body, one end of which is connected to a bearing plate and around which the drive element, the rolling element assemblies, the output element and the energy storage element are arranged axially in series with the bearing plate. The energy storage element is arranged between a bearing portion of the support body and the pressure element.

The method adds up wear adjustment travel paths of the electric motor actuator and/or of an adjustment motor, and indicates the sum of the wear adjustment paths so obtained as the wear of the brake pad or as a residual brake pad service life.
Abstract: A fresh gas supply device for an internal combustion engine having an exhaust gas turbocharger includes a charge air inlet for taking in a compressed charge air flow from the exhaust gas turbocharger; an outlet which is connected to the charge air inlet via a valve section, said valve section being closed in a closed position by at least one flap valve which can be pivoted, preferably, about a flap rotational axis; an adjusting device which is coupled to the at least one flap valve for adjusting the same in the closing direction; and a compressed air inlet for taking in compressed air into the outlet. The compressed air inlet is arranged such that the compressed air is directed into a compressed air flow in the direction of the valve section to the at least one flap valve. A corresponding method for operating the fresh gas supply device is provided.

The air spring arrangement has at least one integrated control valve for the admission of compressed air into a pressure chamber formed between an outer tube, a rolling tube, and an air spring bellows that connects the outer tube and rolling tube. The at least one integrated control valve can be actuated, with multiple switching positions, by an integrated mechanical actuator as a function of an air spring stroke for ride-height adjustment. The pressure chamber includes a compression spring between a tube upper part and a tube lower part of the outer tube. Abstract: A disc brake for a commercial vehicle includes a brake caliper which takes the form of a sliding caliper and straddles a brake disc. In the caliper, brake pads are arranged on an actuation side and a reaction side, which pads can be pressed against both sides of the brake disc by an actuation device during braking. The reaction-side brake pad is supported on a rear-side wall of the brake caliper by a pad carrier plate carrying a friction pad, and a gap is formed in a non-operational position in a region facing an assembly opening of the brake caliper between the rear-side wall of the brake caliper and the reaction-side brake pad. The gap is wider than the adjacent region and the length of the gap corresponds at least to the length of the contact surface of the reaction-side wall on the pad carrier plate when braking is applied. The disc brake is disposed such that the gap is formed by at least one recess in the pad carrier plate.
Abstract: A measuring arrangement for brake application force measurement of a disc brake, includes two components of the disc brake which can be displaced relative to each other along a travel path when a brake application force is applied, at least one brake application force sensor with a housing; a measurement object which can be permanently connected to one or the other of the two components and having at least one element or at least one target object which has at least one such element for contact-free interaction with the brake application force measurement sensor; and an evaluation unit. The brake application force sensor is designed for the detection of a displacement of the measurement object along the path with the evaluation unit for the conversion of the detected displacement in a measurement variable as a measurement for the brake application force. The brake application force sensor and the measurement object can be mounted with each of the two components in a removable manner.
