Abstract: A method for treating photographic process waste liquor by evaporation to concentrat the waste liquor. The method includes evaporating with a heating device which has a heat density of about 17.2 kcal/cm.sup.2 or less; and intermittently feeding the waste liquor to maintain a predetermined liquid level in the vessel. By controlling the heating and/or the liquid level in the evaporation vessel, odors are controlled while efficiency is maintained.

Abstract: In an electrical automatic camera capable of performing normal mode in which picture-taking operation is carried out one time for only one frame of photographic film and interval mode in which picture-taking operation is repeated for a given numbers of frames with a given interval, the invention provides battery-check circuit having at least two kinds of reference levels for comparing with current voltage level of battery, whereby the first reference level is used in the time of the normal mode and the second reference level is used in the time of the interval mode, and wherein the second reference level is set to be higher than the first reference level.

Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a copy machine for recording an additional information onto a copy of document without reducing the document original image. The copy machine has a display for indicating the additional information in the proximity of a glass platen for placing the document. The copy machine is adapted to perform copy operation at least two times so as to form both copy images of the document and the additional information on the same copy sheet.

Abstract: A silver halide light-sensitive photographic material having an improved safe-light insensitivity and, therefore, capability of being easily handled in the light room is disclosed. The material comprises a support; at least one silver halide emulsion layer being provided on one side of the support and containing silver halide grains containing at least 50 mol % of silver chloride, 10.sup.-4 to 10.sup.-8 mol per 1 mol of silver halide of a rhodium salt and a desensitizing dye; and at least one hydrophilic colloidal layer being provided on the other side of the support and containing at least one dye so that the absorbancy of the dye at the maximum spectral sensitivity wavelength (.lambda.max) of the densenitizing dye is not less than 0.3 and the absorbance ratio at the maximum spectral sensitivity wavelength against that at 450 nm is not less than 0.2.

Abstract: A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material is disclosed, which is suitable for contact printing in photomechanical process and capable of being handled in daylight room. The light-sensitive material comprises a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer containing a silver halide emulsion and a hydrazine compound or a tetrazolium compound, a layer being provided on the surface of said emulsion layer farther from said support and containing a compound having a maximum spectral absorption at a wavelength of at least 50 nm longer than that of the maximum spectral sensitivity of said silver halide emulsion, and a layer being interposed between said support and said emulsion layer and containing a macromolecular compound having a heterocyclic group having a sulfo group or an alkylsulfo group. The light-sensitive material is excellent in reverse-text quality and inhibited in formation of pin-holes.
Abstract: A sheet stacking mechanism for use in apparatuses wherein an image is recorded on both sides of a recording sheet, including a bumper roller which is capable of retractably shifting to a downward position to be in pressure contact with the recording sheets on an intermediate tray and transport the recording sheets to a stopper where the leading edges thereof are aligned and, a sensor and control device for controlling the position of the roller so that the roller is shifted downward onto the recording sheet to be aligned when the sheets reach the tray, and raised out of contact with the sheets when the leading edges reach the stopper.
Abstract: An image memory apparatus having a photographing device for taking an image of a subject, an image memory device for storing the video signals from the photographing device, a detecting device for detecting changes in brightness level of the video signals, and a control device for supplying to the image memory device a write control signal according to the brightness level changes. The image that exists in a field where the brightness level change in the video signal occurs is stored in memory to freeze that image.
Abstract: There is disclosed a copolyester which comprises at least four compositions of: (A) terephthalic acid, and/or its ester forming derivative (terephthalic acid component) and isophthalic acid and/or its ester forming derivative (isophthalic acid component) with a molar ratio of 30/70 to 70/30; (b) 5 to 15 mole % of a dicarboxylic acid having sulfonate group and/or its ester forming derivative based on the all dicarboxylic acid components; (C) an alicyclic dicarboxylic acid and/or its ester forming derivative; and (D) 50 mole % of ethylene glycol based on the all glycol components; and a polyester film which comprises a subbing layer containing the copolyester provided on at least one side of a polyester film base.
