Abstract: This learning device is provided with: a simulation execution unit that, by using electromagnetic field analysis simulation, determines a reflected wave spectrum obtained when electromagnetic waves are emitted from a reader to an identification target; and a machine learning unit that, by using training data in which the reflected wave spectrum calculated by the simulation execution unit and an attribute thereof are defined as a set, performs a training process on a learning model by machine learning. The simulation execution unit generates a plurality of the reflected wave spectra belonging to the same attribute by variously changing various parameters related to the identification target from reference parameters. The machine learning unit performs a training process on the learning model by machine learning by using, as training data, the plurality of reflected wave spectra obtained for each attribute.

Abstract: A radiographic image capturing apparatus includes: a two-dimensional array of radiation detecting elements that generate one or more electric charges in proportion to a dose of incident radiation; and a control unit that performs control, at least, to read the electric charges from the radiation detecting elements and generate image data. An image capturing mode is switchable between a controlled mode in which the radiographic image capturing apparatus is under control of an external console and a stand-alone mode in which the radiographic image capturing apparatus autonomously performs image capturing without the control of the console. Abstract: An image forming apparatus forms a color image on a recording medium by superimposing images of colors formed by image forming units. The apparatus includes a processor that: acquires a read image by reading the recording medium on which the color image has been formed; forms a register patch outside a job image forming region of the recording medium; and corrects image forming positions of the image forming units based on the read image that includes the register patch. The register patch includes: a leading end patch and a rear end patch formed with a reference color material; and one or more measurement target color patches formed with measurement target color materials between the leading end patch and the rear end patch. The hardware processor corrects the image forming positions based on relative positions of the leading end patch, the rear end patch, and the measurement target color patches.
