Abstract: Provided is a fixing apparatus that fixes an unfixed image on a sheet by causing the sheet to pass through a fixing nip formed by pressing a belt by a pressurizing roller, a lubricant being applied on an inner peripheral surface of the belt, the pressurizing roller being disposed on an outer peripheral side of the belt, and the fixing apparatus includes: a non-rotary pad including a pressed part disposed on an inner peripheral side of the belt and pressed by the pressurizing roller via the belt, and a guide that is disposed upstream of the pressed part in a belt circulating direction and guides the belt to the fixing nip; and a pressure application part that applies a pressure between an end of the belt in a belt width direction and the guide at a position upstream of and immediately before the fixing nip in the belt circulating direction.

The console controls a radiation emitting apparatus that emits radiation. Abstract: Disclosed is a wavelength conversion film including at least two or more dyes and absorbing irradiation light to emit light at a longer wavelength than that of the irradiation light. The wavelength conversion film includes a first dye having a maximum absorption wavelength in a red light region, and a second dye absorbing excitation energy of the first dye to emit light in a near infrared region.
Abstract: There are provided an inkjet head, an inkjet image forming apparatus, a nozzle plate manufacturing method, and an inkjet head manufacturing method capable of improving durability against wiping on an ink discharge surface. The inkjet head includes a nozzle substrate including nozzle holes from which ink is discharged. The nozzle substrate has an irregularity structure formed on an ink discharge surface such that neither ink particles contained in the ink nor a wiping member that wipes the ink discharge surface get caught by the irregularity structure.

Abstract: A method for generating a searchable file from a document. The method includes identifying an object within the document and a formatting attribute of the object, determining an inferred semantic characteristic of the object by comparing the formatting attribute with a plurality of inference rules, wherein the inferred semantic characteristic comprises an estimation of author-defined semantic characteristic of the object, generating metadata based at least on the inferred semantic characteristic and the formatting attribute of the object, wherein the metadata comprises text data that is searchable by a search application for the searchable file to identify the object within the searchable file, and generating, based on the document, the searchable file comprising the metadata.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus is connected to a voice processing server that analyzes text data transmitted from a voice input/output apparatus that converts an instruction by an utterance of a user to the text data and outputs the text data, and outputs an instruction obtained by analysis and utterance language information indicating a language of the utterance, and the information processing apparatus includes: a communicator that communicates with the voice processing server; a destination searcher that determines on the basis of the utterance language information whether to include a space character in a target of the search, and searches for a name indicated in a search character string from a destination list on the basis of a result of the determination; and a hardware processor that performs control to transmit a search result of a destination by the destination searcher to the voice processing server via the communicator.

A job record specifying device includes a second processor that conducts an analysis on different values in multiple job records; selects a speech with reference to the different values; transfers the speech to a speech generator; and finds a specific job record from the multiple job records using a keyword extracted from a speech inputted via the speech input device in response to the speech outputted by the speech generator. The image processing apparatus reflects a target set of values in the specific job record, to the setting of a job.

Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a resin composition for forming three-dimensionally shaped objects having high dimensional accuracy. In order to achieve the purpose, the resin composition is used in a three-dimensional shaping method wherein either forming a thin layer that comprises a particulate resin composition and selectively irradiating the thin layer with laser light are repeated or melt-extruding a resin composition into a filament shape and forming a layer of the filament-shaped extruded resin composition are repeated, thereby forming a three-dimensionally shaped object. The resin composition has a particulate or filament shape, comprises polysaccharide nanofibers and a resin, and has a content of the polysaccharide nanofibers of 1-70 mass %. In the resin composition, the maximum value of loss modulus at temperatures in the range of (melting temperature)±20° C. is 10-1,000 times the minimum value of loss modulus at temperatures in the range of (melting temperature)±20° C.
