Abstract: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of achieving both correction accuracy of skew correction and minimization of a margin between images. A color shift amount calculator that calculates a color shift amount, and a first skew correction controller and a second skew correction controller that control skew correction of color shift are included. The first skew correction controller controls first skew correction by a mechanical operation by the image former on the basis of a first color shift residual target value set in advance. The second skew correction controller controls second skew correction, by image processing, of the color shift after the control by the first skew correction controller on the basis of a second color shift residual target value set in advance.
Abstract: A glossiness detector includes a glossiness sensor, a glossiness corrector, and a reference plate. The glossiness corrector corrects glossiness detected by the glossiness sensor. The reference plate is used for correction processing of the glossiness sensor. Then, the glossiness corrector acquires a glossy reflection profile of the reference plate that has been detected in advance. The glossiness corrector corrects the glossiness according to the reference plate on the basis of the glossy reflection profile and a gloss distribution of the reference plate that has been detected by the glossiness sensor.
Abstract: A method for aligning and merging contents from multiple collaborative workstations. Collaborative workstations are multiple workstations that contribute respective contents to be combined into a single computer-generated output. The content generated from each collaborative workstation is the collaborative content. Individual collaborative content is created from each workstation by a user drawing on a piece of paper that is placed on a workspace surface of the workstation. Collaborative contents contributed by multiple workstations are aligned such that a combined product (i.e., a single computer-generated output) including both virtual and physical content appears to be collaboratively drawn by multiple users on a single piece of paper.

Abstract: An image inspection device includes a hardware processor executing an inspection for a first read image generated by reading a first sheet on which one image is formed, based on a reference image. When an operation for newly generating the reference image is performed in association with the inspection for the first read image, the hardware processor acquires second read images generated by respectively reading second sheets on each of which the one image is formed and generates the reference image using the inspection for the first read image. When an operation for using the generated reference image stored in a storage unit is performed in association with the inspection for the first read image, the hardware processor uses the reference image in the storage unit for the inspection for the first read image, without newly acquiring the second read images.

Abstract: An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus includes: a transmitter; a receiver; a Doppler processor that detects a Doppler shift frequency resulting from a blood flow in a subject, based on a reception signal corresponding to a reflected wave from a sample gate position in the subject; and a velocity scale adjuster that adjusts a velocity scale determining a pulse repetition frequency, based on a Doppler waveform corresponding to the Doppler shift frequency during an observation target period. In a case where a recommendation value of the velocity scale calculated based on the Doppler waveform is larger than a critical value of the velocity scale at which a measurement state calculated based on the sample gate position transitions from a non-high-pulse-repetition-frequency state to a high-pulse-repetition-frequency state, the velocity scale adjuster sets the critical value as the velocity scale to be used in measurement.
