Abstract: It is provided smooth polyurethane particles for oil absorption under producing, treating, keeping and transporting. A polyurethane particle consists of a body of the polyurethane particle and hydrophilic fine silica powders existing on the body. The body is obtained by three-dimensionally polymerizing an isocyanate-terminated urethane prepolymer with trifunctional or more functional amines. The isocyanate-terminated urethane prepolymer is obtained by reacting polyisocyanates and polyols including a poly(tetramethylene ether)glycol. The polyurethane particles are obtained by spray-drying a mixed aqueous dispersion in which the hydrophilic fine silica powders and the polyurethane spheres are dispersed in a water.

  • Patent number: 8197896
Abstract: It is provided a method for producing a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet which is superior in a heat-resistance. A mixture is prepared by uniformly mixing a specific polymer having hydrolyzable silyl end groups and urethane linkages and/or urea linkages in the main chains or side chains with tackifying resins. A fluorine-containing compound selected from the group consisting of boron trifluoride, complex of boron trifluoride, fluorinating agent and alkali metal salt of fluorine-containing inorganic acid is uniformly mixed into the mixture to obtain a precursor of a pressure-sensitive adhesive agent. The adhesive precursor is applied on the surface of a tape substrate or sheet substrate. It is obtained a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having three-dimensional reticulation structures by curing the specific polymer having hydrolyzable silyl end groups. Thereby, it is obtained the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or sheet.

  • Patent number: 8153262
Abstract: Disclosed is a strippable floor coating which includes an undercoat layer (A) to be applied to a floor surface, and a strippable overcoat layer (B) over the undercoat layer (A). The undercoat layer (A) is formed from an undercoating agent mainly containing a wax or analogue thereto and having film-formability. The overcoat layer (B) is formed from a floor polish composition mainly containing an aqueous emulsion. The undercoat layer (A) has greater adhesion to the floor surface than to the overcoat layer (B). Even when applied to various flooring materials, this strippable floor coating does not peel off practically and is excellent in soiling resistance and wear resistance to retain a beautiful appearance over long time. If necessary, the coating can be easily stripped off.
