Abstract: The inventive concept discloses a solar cell and a method for manufacturing the same. The solar cell includes a semiconductor substrate, an emitter layer disposed on one surface of the substrate, and a cooling layer disposed on one surface of the emitter layer, and the cooling layer absorbs a far-infrared ray from irradiated sunlight and emits a wavelength of the absorbed far-infrared ray.

Abstract: A method for processing a three-dimensional holographic image includes obtaining depth images from depth data of a three-dimensional object, dividing each of the depth images into a predetermined number of sub-images, obtaining interference patterns of computer-generated hologram (CGH) patches corresponding to each of the sub-images by performing a Fourier transform to calculate an interference pattern in a CGH plane for object data included in each of the sub-images, and generating a CGH for the three-dimensional object using the obtained interference patterns of the CGH patches.

Abstract: Disclosed are an expression cassette for isopropanol production, a recombinant vector for isopropanol production including the expression cassette, a recombinant microorganism for isopropanol production into which the vector is introduced, and a method of producing isopropanol using the recombinant microorganism. The recombinant microorganism in which a succinic acid bypass metabolic pathway is introduced to an isopropanol production pathway has very high ability to produce isopropanol. The recombinant microorganism is capable of producing isopropanol in an amount corresponding to about 100 times the maximum amount of isopropanol that is produced using known Corynebacterium glutamicum, and thus can effectively produce isopropanol and can be useful in various industrial fields where isopropanol is utilized.

Abstract: Disclosed are an interstitially mixed self-assembled monolayer (ImSAM) that can be manufactured very easily by utilizing a novel method of manufacturing supramolecular alloys called “repeated surface exchange of molecules (ReSEM)”, maintain chemical functional groups exposed to the surface of conventional thin films and selectively improve stability without interfering with performance, and a method of manufacturing the same. The interstitially mixed self-assembled monolayers (imSAMs) remarkably enhance electrical stability of molecular-scale electronic devices without deterioration in functions and reliability, withstand a high voltage, and exhibit better stability than a single SAM while maintaining the performance of the prior art, thus being useful for a variety of technical fields using SAMs, especially electronics, organic light-emitting displays (OLEDs), solar cells, sensors, heterogeneous catalysts, frictional electricity, cell growth surfaces, and heat transfer control films.

Abstract: Disclosed are a MWW/DDR type gas separation membrane comprising at least one MWW type zeolite and at least one DDR type zeolite and a method for preparing the same. One of the MWW type zeolite and the DDR type zeolite is disposed on the other thereof, wherein at least one of the MWW type zeolite and the DDR type zeolite is epitaxially grown. In the gas separation membrane, the DDR type zeolite is epitaxially grown from the MWW type zeolite, or the MWW type zeolite is epitaxially grown from the DDR type zeolite. Thus, the MWW/DDR type gas separation membrane is synthesized using a structural continuity of the MWW type zeolite and the DDR type zeolite. Thus, the gas separation membrane has excellent separation efficiency.
