Abstract: The present invention relates to a scheduling apparatus and a method thereof in an HPi system. A scheduling algorithm is applied appropriate to a characteristic of each multimedia service (e.g., real-time service, non real-time service, best-effort service, etc.) and a transmission order of the IP packets transmitted from a network is determined such that a transmit wait queue is generated. Radio resource allocation is performed in accordance with the order of the data items queued in the transmit wait queue, the size of transmittable data is determined such that a PDU is generated. In addition, frame data formed of bursts of PDUs is generated and transmitted to a physical layer. Therefore, a scheduling algorithm can be applied appropriate to characteristics of each multimedia service. In addition, packet scheduling is performed in two steps in order to schedule traffic corresponding to radio frames such that packets can be efficiently processed.

Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for generating a ranging pseudo noise (PN) code used in a base station of a portable internet system of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing access scheme, wherein a ranging pseudo noise mask value is generated using a cell ID number, and then the generated ranging pseudo noise mask value is stored in a memory. A final ranging PN code is generated using the stored ranging PN mask value and a status of a pseudo random binary sequence for generating a ranging PN code. With such a structure, the maximal 256-numbered ranging PN code values can be obtained simultaneously with each 144 bit-length.

Abstract: Disclosed are a certification mobile terminal, and an electronic transaction system and method using the same. A certificate is downloaded to a mobile terminal from a certification authority. In a wired electronic transaction, a user's transaction history is provided to the mobile terminal from a service providing server or a user's transaction terminal, and the mobile terminal digitally signs the transaction history by using a stored digital certificate and provides the digitally signed transaction history to the service providing server or the transaction terminal so that the service providing server may finally receive the digitally signed transaction history. The service providing server settles the transaction with the user according to the digitally signed transaction history, and provides a service to the user. Also, in the offline transactions, the certificate stored in the mobile terminal is provided to a system to thereby execute stable transactions based on the certificate.

  • Patent number: 7349674
Abstract: A receiver is protected by reducing a transmit leakage signal leaked when a transmit signal is radiated through the antenna by using three circulators (transmitter, antenna, and receiver). The transmitter and antenna circulators output the transmit leakage signal to be reduced to less than the transmit signal through a first leakage path. The transmitter and receiver circulators output the transmit leakage signal through a third leakage path and reduce the signal. The transmit leakage signals received through the first and third leakage paths are canceled, and that received through a second leakage path is output to a receiver. The transmit leakage signal has a 40 dB signal reduction compared to the transmit signal, and is transmitted to the receiver.

  • Publication number: 20080043858
Abstract: Disclosed are a method for constructing a frame preamble in an OFDM wireless communication system, and a method for acquiring frame synchronization and searching cells using the preamble. The preamble is arranged at the beginning of a frame and constructed of a pattern repeated an integer number of times, and a CP. The pattern has a length shorter than a single OFDM symbol interval. The length of the repetitive pattern is not limited to an integer number of times a single OFDM symbol interval. Frame synchronization can be acquired by observing cross-correlation of a received signal and reference patterns and detecting the moment when the absolute value of the cross-correlation exceeds a predetermined threshold. Otherwise, frame synchronization can be acquired by observing auto-correlation of the received signal using repeated patterns included in the received signal and detecting the moment when the absolute value of the auto-correlation becomes the maximum value.
