  • Publication number: 20180105225
Abstract: There is provided a front fork provided with a plurality of adjusters, while including a spring adjuster. In order to achieve the above object, in a front fork F according to the means for solving the problem of the present invention, a spring adjuster A is rotatably mounted on a position eccentric to a center O of a cap 4 as viewed in an axial direction and includes a screw portion 35 disposed in an outer periphery protruded into a fork main body 1, and a plate P in which the screw portion 35 of the spring adjuster A is screwed to change support positions of a suspension spring S is brought into contact with a case (tubular member) 14a at two points on both sides in a circumferential direction of the normal of the case 14a that passes a mounting center of the spring adjuster A. Accordingly, while being prevented from rotating, the plate P can be downsized and can be disposed so as not to interfere with first and second adjusters 5, 6.

  • Publication number: 20180079466
Abstract: There is provided a front fork which has a small number of components with simple structure and is easy to assemble. In order to achieve the above object, in a front fork F according to the means for solving the problem of the present invention, first and second adjusters 5, 6 are mounted on a cap 4 so as to be axially movable, and a contact portion 52 of the first adjuster 5 in contact with a first adjustment rod 7 and a contact portion 62 of the second adjuster 6 in contact with a second adjustment rod 8 are displaced in an axial direction of a vehicle body tube 2 so as not to interfere with each other. Therefore, even when each of the first and second adjusters 5, 6 moves in the axial direction with respect to the cap 4, the corresponding first and second adjustment rods 7, 8 can be moved independently without being interfered with each other.

  • Patent number: 9874263
Abstract: To achieve the object described above, a shock absorber to solve the problem of the present invention includes a cover that covers an outer periphery of a cylinder which a reaction force air chamber forming member is slid ably in contact with, so that a slidable movement surface of the cylinder on which the reaction force air chamber forming member slidably moves is protected by the cover. Therefore, the slidable movement surface of the cylinder is not damaged by being hit by a flying stone or the like, an air tight property of the reaction force air chamber is maintained, and characteristics of an air spring included in the shock absorber do not change.
