  • Patent number: 7623952
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention comprise a system for positioning a drawn implement having a transverse tool bar being pulled by a vehicle traveling generally along a desired path of movement, the vehicle having a mounting hitch on the rear end thereof where a system hitch is configured to adjust its angular orientation and that of the tool bar relative to the vehicle mounting hitch and a global positioning system having an antenna mounted on the system hitch operable to detect the position of the tool bar of the implement relative to the desired path as the vehicle moves generally along the desired path and generate a signal that is indicative of the lateral position of the implement relative to the desired path and means for controlling the hitch means to adjust the angular orientation of the hitch means and the tool bar so that the implement follows the desired path of movement in response to the global positioning system signals.

  • Publication number: 20080108101
Abstract: A diagnostic technology to provide more efficient treatment for diagnosis of diseases such as leukemia, is provided according to the present invention. The present invention provides a method for identifying a stage of differentiation-maturation of a cell comprising the steps of: A) measuring an expression level of at least one cellular marker; and 10 B) determining the stage of differentiation-maturation of the cell based on the expression level. The present invention further provides a method for treating a subject based on a differentiation-maturation stage of a cell, comprising the steps of: A) measuring an expression level of at least one cellular marker; B) determining the differentiation-maturation stage of the cell based on the expression level; and C) providing to the subject an appropriate treatment based on the determined differentiation-maturation stage.

  • Publication number: 20080098962
Abstract: A mobile apparatus is used to process animal waste in a farm building and to spread the processed animal waste back on the floor of the farm building as the apparatus moves through the farm building. The apparatus includes a processing mechanism that heats the animal waste to a predetermined temperature to eliminate insects, bacteria, and ammonia from the animal waste. The apparatus also includes a spreader mechanism for distributing the processed animal waste onto the farm building floor. The most preferred implementation of the apparatus is a single-pass machine that takes in animal waste in the front using a pickup mechanism, processes the animal waste to sanitize the animal waste, and spreads the sanitized animal waste in the rear, allowing the operator to move the machine through the farm building and thereby sanitize all of the animal waste in a single pass.

  • Patent number: 7020994
Abstract: A universal gun cleaning kit includes a universal handle including a female threaded opening of a first select size. A plurality of elongate rods have different outer diameters. Each rod has opposite near and distal ends. The distal ends are adapted for selectively receiving a gun barrel cleaning element. A plurality of shafts are each rotatably connected to an associated one of the rods. The shafts include a male threaded end of the first select size or a second select size. An adaptor has a female threaded end of the second select size and a male threaded end of the first select size. The shafts of the first select size can be directly threaded into the universal handle and the shafts of the second select size can be threaded into the universal handle using the adaptor so that, in use, a select one of the rods is rotatable relative to the universal handle.
