Abstract: The image display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: an organic light emitting panel; a signal processing device to perform signal processing on an input image and output an image signal; a timing controller to drive the organic light emitting panel based on the image signal; and a power supply to supply a display driving voltage, wherein the signal processing device is configured to calculate a luminance level based on the average picture level of the input image, calculate output luminance level based on the luminance level and an offset level corresponding to current information detected in response to the display driving voltage in the timing controller, and output an image signal corresponding to the output luminance level. Accordingly, it is possible to improve the luminance of the display while satisfying regulation on power consumption.
