Abstract: A cosmetic cleansing composition includes a monophasic micellar water that includes at least one amphoteric surfactant present from greater than about 0.05%, by weight, at least one cationic polymer comprising chitosan, polylysine, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, or combinations thereof present from greater than about 0.01%, by weight, based on the weight of the composition and an aqueous carrier that includes at least water. The cosmetic cleansing composition has a pH in a range from about 4 to about 8, and may be essentially free or free of PEG/POE surfactants. When applied to remove makeup on keratinous tissue the cosmetic cleansing composition demonstrates effective cleansing of longwear foundation and lipstick.

Abstract: A foaming cleansing composition includes at least one amphoteric surfactant, which may be selected from cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine, cocamidopropyl betaine, cocobetaine, sodium lauroamphoacetate, disodium cocoamphodiacetate, or combinations thereof, at least one anionic surfactant comprising methyl oleoyl taurate, at least one anionic surfactant having a carboxyl group which may be selected from sarcosinates, glycinates, alaninates, glutamates, glycolipids, or combinations thereof, and water. The foaming cleansing composition may be essentially free of added PEG-type polymeric thickeners.

The delivery device may further include a blocking member that isolated formulation in delivery device from ambient air when the blocking member is in a blocking position and allows the pump to discharge formulation from the nozzle when the blocking member is in an open position. The delivery device is mountable to a docking station with a storage tank containing cleaning fluid. The docking station provides cleaning fluid to the delivery device when the delivery device is mounted thereto.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for autonomous, semi-autonomous, and assisted manual application of a cosmetic style to a portion of skin of an individual. A printer device includes a printer applicator, a position sensor, and a reservoir for compositions for the cosmetic style. A display of the printer device represents the portion of skin as a plurality of guide segments, and represents the printer applicator as a visual indicator relative to the plurality of guide segments based on the position sensor. The depiction of the visual indicator responds to changes in the position of the printer applicator relative to the portion of the skin to visually guide the individual to accurately apply the cosmetic style, and a feedback device alerts the individual if the application deviates from the portion of the skin. These approaches enable the individual to correct application of the composition in real time.

Abstract: A formulation delivery appliance can be used for treatment of the hair and scalp, such as an appliance used to color hair. The appliance may include a container having an aperture and being configured to retain a volume of formulation. The formulation delivery appliance may further include an elongate engagement element having a channel extending therethrough and being configured to be at least partially received by the aperture of the container when the container is mounted to the engagement element. A vent aperture is formed in the engagement element and provides fluid communication between the channel and an area outside of the engagement element when the container is disengaged from the engagement element. The vent aperture is sealed, and the channel receives a flow of formulation from the container when the container is mounted to the engagement element.
