The controller is configured to receive a value of a measured pressure within the three-dimensional printer. The connector is connectable between a gas outlet of the printer and an inlet of an external gas extraction system. The controller is configured to compare the received value of measured pressure with a predetermined value. If the received value differs from the predetermined value, the controller is configured to permit ambient air to flow into the external extraction system.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving video content streams from multiple source mobile devices and identifying that the video content streams pertain to a same event. Additional aspects may include identifying end mobile devices for the video content streams and determining a portion of the end mobile devices are coupled to one communication network and another communication network. Further aspects can include identifying a predicted traffic pattern on the first communication network based on the multiple video content streams pertaining to the same event and that the portion of the multiple end mobile devices are communicatively coupled to the first communication network. Additional aspects may include transmitting a portion of the video content streams across the first communication network and transmitting another portion of the video content streams across the second communication network according to the predicted traffic pattern. In some examples, material may be removed from an epitaxial-silicon wafer at a surface opposite an epitaxial surface layer until the epitaxial-silicon wafer is a specified thickness. The thinned epitaxial-silicon wafer may be bonded to an oxidized-silicon wafer at an oxidized surface forming a buried oxide layer.

Abstract: The present invention concerns an iterative method for spatially or temporally shaping a laser beam. The spatial shaping of the beam uses a light valve and the temporal shaping of a pulse uses a Mach-Zehnder modulator. At each spatial shaping iteration, the profile of the observed beam is projected onto an adapted basis set in order to obtain observed profile components in this basis set. The ratios are calculated between the components of a setpoint profile in this basis set and the components of the observed profile, and the ratio of the profiles at the output of the light valve is deduced. The control for each element of the valve is then determined as the product of the control for this same element, obtained at the previous iteration, and the ratio of the profiles for the position of this element, obtained at the current iteration.
