  • Patent number: 11356489
Abstract: Adaptive state detection can be provided for conferencing solutions. A monitoring service can be executed on the computing system employed by each participant to access a conference. The monitoring service on a presenter computing system can detect when the presenter has commenced sharing his/her screen or application and can identify a schema for performing state detection. The monitoring service shares the schema with the monitoring services on the listener computing systems. As the screen content is shared, the monitoring services can implement the schema to cause state notifications to be provided to the monitoring service on the presenter computing system. The state notifications can represent whether the listener computing systems are receiving the shared screen content and/or to what extent the shared screen content is delayed.

  • Patent number: 11354881
Abstract: Systems and methods for realizing practical applications of high speed digital image correlation (DIC) for dynamic quantities of interest are provided. In particular, a series of images are captured for a component of interest in which a non-filtered sensor and an analog low-pass filtered sensor are included within the region of interest for the series of images. Displacement signals are obtained for the component of interest, the non-filtered sensor, and the analog low-pass filtered sensor by applying digital image correlation processing to the series of images, which may also be wavelet filtered. Dynamic quantities of interest may be generated and derived from the displacement signals after having been wavelet filtered. Such dynamic quantities of interest based on the wavelet filtered DIC-derived displacement signal may be compared to sensor-derived dynamic quantities of interest to determine if aliasing is or is likely to be present.

  • Patent number: 11356329
Abstract: A processing system may obtain an intent comprising a desired network state for a telecommunication network, determine an existing network state, where the desired network state and the existing network state are defined in accordance with a graph representing the telecommunication network, where the graph includes objects and relationships between the plurality of objects, and where each of the objects includes one or more properties. The processing system may compose a strategy that includes a plurality of policies to obtain the desired network state from the existing network state, where each of the policies comprises an action that is to be implemented in the telecommunication network, where the composing comprises performing a state exploration process over the graph, and where each state transition of the process corresponds to one of the policies. The processing system may then implement the strategy to place the telecommunication network in the desired network state.

  • Patent number: 11356911
Abstract: In a wireless communication network, an access node controller determines data throughput over a target access node. A source access node wirelessly exchanges user data with User Equipment (UE) and determines data throughput. The source access node receives signal parameters for the source access node and target access node from the UE. The source access node compares the signal parameters and responsively transfers a handover request that indicates the target node and the UE throughput over the source node. The access node controller receives the handover request and compares the source throughput to the target throughput to determine a handover value. The access node controller transfers the handover value to the source access node. The source access node compares the signal parameters based on the handover value, and responsively hands-over the UE to the target access node which wirelessly exchanges user data with the UE.

  • Publication number: 20220169007
Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include a tracking sensor, a delivery device and a controller. The controller may receive an input indicative of the apparatus being aligned to an alignment location, determine, based on input from the tracking sensor, that the apparatus has moved a predefined distance or past the predefined distance in a first direction from the alignment location, and based on a determination that the apparatus has been moved the predefined distance or past the predefined distance, cause a first feedback to be outputted to instruct a user to move the apparatus in a second direction. The controller may also, as the apparatus is moved in the second direction, cause the delivery device to generate an image that has an intended justification with respect to the alignment location.

  • Publication number: 20220170741
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a process that formulates an inference that a first group of mobile devices are at ground level, and obtains, for the first group of mobile devices, positions and barometric pressure readings. Ground heights with respect to a common reference height are determined for the first group of mobile devices, and reference barometric pressures are calculated for the first group of mobile devices, at the common reference height according to the barometric pressure readings and the determined ground heights.
