Abstract: In one example, the present disclosure describes a device, computer-readable medium, and method for enabling secure video sharing by exploiting data sparsity. In one example, the method includes applying a transformation to a video dataset containing a plurality of video samples, to produce a plurality of sparse vectors in a first dimensional space, wherein each sparse vector of the plurality of sparse vectors corresponds to one video sample of the plurality of video samples, and multiplying each sparse vector of the plurality of sparse vectors by a transformation matrix to produce a plurality of reduced vectors in a second dimensional space, wherein the dimension of the second dimensional space is smaller than a dimension of the first dimensional space, and wherein the plurality of reduced vectors in the second dimensional space hides information about the video dataset while preserving relational properties between the plurality of video samples.

The method includes onboarding, using a centralized computing device having one or more processors that are operatively associated with a distributed ledger, the user device with a user at least based on a public key identity of the user device; onboarding the user of the user device with the user device; onboarding an identity of the IoT device and the asset such that association between the asset and the IoT device is endorsed on the distributed ledger; and facilitating, through the centralized computing device, the user device to retrieve a first set of data packets representative of any of a relevant electronic authoritative document(s), associated consensus proof(s), and block header(s) from the distributed ledger.

Abstract: Systems and methods for monitor brightness control are disclosed. The method includes connecting with a device via a dock, the device including a sensor configured to detect a lighting condition of an environment surrounding the device. The method further includes linking the dock with a monitor. The method further includes detecting the lighting condition. Additionally, in response to a change in the lighting condition, the method includes matching the lighting condition with a monitor brightness setting in a plurality of brightness look-up-tables and adjusting a brightness level of the monitor based on the monitor brightness setting.

Abstract: System performance of a first information handling system may be adjusted based on system usage. Performance parameters may be determined by a second information handling system based on the system usage and may be used, by the first information handling system, to adjust system performance. Configuration of the first information handling system may thus be distributed to two or more tiers. The second information handling system can be more efficient with determining operating parameters for the first information handling system when the second system is not power limited, as when the first information handling system is a mobile device.

Abstract: A host server in a server cluster has a memory allocator that creates a dedicated host application data cache in storage class memory. A background routine destages host application data from the dedicated cache in accordance with a destaging plan. For example, a newly written extent may be destaged based on aging. All extents may be flushed from the dedicated cache following host server reboot. All extents associated with a particular production volume may be flushed from the dedicated cache in response to a sync message from a storage array.

Abstract: An automatic route reflector configuration system includes a plurality of router devices that are coupled to each other in an autonomous system, with each of the router devices exchanging discovery communications, using information included in the discovery communications to generate a route reflector configuration database, and electing a closest one of the router devices as a route reflector based on the route reflector configuration database. Each router device elected as a route reflector then transmits automatic route reflector peering communications to each of the other router devices that include a role for that router device, receives an acceptance of the role for that router device from at least some of the router devices to which it transmitted automatic route reflector peering communications, and exchanges routes with each of the router devices that accepted the role for that router device.

Abstract: A reactor and process for the production of bio-diesel. The reactor includes one or more coiled reaction lines. The lines are positioned within a tank containing a heat transfer media such as molten salt, maintained at about 750° F. A pump circulates the media within the tank. An emulsion of alcohol; refined feed stock, including glycerides and/or fatty acids; and preferably water is pumped through the reaction lines at temperatures and pressures sufficient to maintain the alcohol in a super-critical state. The curvature of the coils, pump pulsing, and the flow rate of the emulsion keep the emulsion in a turbulent state while in the reactor, ensuring thorough mixing of the alcohol and feed stock. The alcohol reacts with the glycerides and fatty acids to form bio-diesel. The reaction is fast, efficient with regard to energy input and waste generation, and requires minimal alcohol.

Abstract: Introduced here are systems to manage and discover a processing offloader. A first multimedia device may identify a processing offloader in a networked environment. A first multimedia device may determine that a bandwidth of a second multimedia device in the networked environment falls below a threshold bandwidth, indicating that the second multimedia device may process instructions and render multimedia information with increased latency or delay. Based on this determination, the first multimedia device may forward instructions from the second multimedia device to the processing offloader for the processing offloader to process and render multimedia information on behalf of the second multimedia device based on the received instructions. The first multimedia device may forward rendered multimedia information from the processing offloader to the second multimedia device, and the second multimedia device may output the rendered multimedia information to an output device.

Abstract: A power converter device health check system includes a circuit that connects a power input to a power output, and that includes a first transistor directly coupled to ground and a capacitor in parallel with the first transistor. A controller device is coupled to the circuit and, during boot operations, prevents first power from being provided to the first transistor via the power input, and turns off the first transistor. While preventing the first power from being provided to the first transistor and with the first transistor turned off, the controller device provides second power to a circuit location in the circuit between the first transistor and the capacitor, and then determines whether a charge of the capacitor is below a threshold charge level. If the capacitor is below the threshold charge level, the controller device transmits a power converter warning message.

Abstract: A network device for a communications network includes a port configured to transmit data to the network at a maximum transmit data rate. The device also includes a transmit buffer configured to buffer data units that are ready for transmission to the network, and a packet buffer configured to buffer data units before the data units are ready for transmission. The packet buffer is configured to output data units at a maximum packet buffer transmission rate faster than the maximum transmit data rate. The device includes a rate controller configured to control a transmission rate of data from the packet buffer to the transmit buffer so that averaged over a period, the transmission rate from the packet buffer to the transmit buffer is at most equal to the maximum transmit data rate, while allowing the transmission rate, at one or more time intervals, to exceed the maximum transmit data rate.

Abstract: An environment sensing method includes the following steps, carried out by a data processor a) defining an occupancy grid comprising a plurality of cells; b) acquiring at least one measurement result from a distance sensor, representative of the distance of one or more nearest targets; and c) computing an occupation probability of the cells of the occupancy grid by applying to the measurement an inverse sensor model stored in a memory device in the form of a data structure representing a plurality of model grids associated to respective distance measurement results, at least some cells of a model grid corresponding to a plurality of contiguous cells of the occupancy grid belonging to a same of a plurality of angular sectors into which the field of view of the distance sensor is divided, and associating a same occupation probability to each one of the plurality of cells.

Abstract: In example implementations, a method is provided, which may include providing a carrier, applying a thermal release tape over the carrier, attaching a print head die, a drive integrated circuit (IC) and an interposer on the thermal release tape, wherein the print head die comprises ink feed holes formed in a back surface of the print head die, encapsulating the print head die, the drive IC and the interposer with an epoxy molded compound (EMC), removing the carrier and the thermal release tape, and forming a slot over an area of the EMC that covers the ink feed holes, wherein the ink feed holes are to be fluidically coupled to the slot.

According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a processor and a memory that can store executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations. The operations can include identifying a group of local managers of a group of user equipments. The operations can further include receiving, from a network device, a criterion for selecting a local manager from the group of local managers of the group of user equipments, wherein the criterion is based on an association parameter selected by the network device.
