Abstract: Systems and methods provide for the processing of data including monitoring functions. A blade enclosure for processing data includes: at least one first blade server configured to only perform routine processing tasks; and at least one second blade server connected to the at least one first blade server and configured to perform monitoring functions, wherein the at least one first blade server is configured to offload received data which requires monitoring to the at least one second blade server, and wherein the routine processing tasks do not include monitoring functions.

Abstract: Methods and systems for remotely monitoring trailer or trailers attached to a vehicle is provided. The method includes associating an identification tag or ABS ECU that is configured to broadcast a trailer identification signal with a trailer. The method further includes receiving the trailer identification signal on-board the vehicle, associating the trailer identification signal with the vehicle, transmitting the trailer identification signal to a remote processor and receiving the trailer identification signal at the remote processor. The system comprises a mobile data terminal capable of generating and responding to telematic events comprising at least one processor, a graphical user interface, an input device, a memory and a set of executable instructions which may include a plurality of modules, such as a vehicle location module capable of receiving a GPS signal and transmitting the GPS signal to a remote processor for determining a location of a transportation unit.

Abstract: A technique for instructing at least one mobile station communicating with a serving access node, the serving access node being capable of cooperating with a plurality of supporting access nodes and the at least one mobile station being capable of additionally communicating with the plurality of supporting access nodes is provided. A method implementation of this technique comprises the steps of obtaining at least one backhaul parameter relating to a backhaul capacity of at least one of the serving access node and a supporting access node, generating at least one of a handover command and a system information parameter based on the obtained at least one backhaul parameter, and providing the at least one of the handover command and the system information parameter to the at least one mobile station.

Abstract: Sounding reference signals transmitted in one cell, and which use a same base sequence as sounding reference signals transmitted in a neighboring cell, may cause interference. Detection of signal energy on unallocated sounding resources in a cell can be used when allocating additional sounding resources in that cell. Coordination among base stations, e.g., eNodeBs, can be performed to mitigate potential sounding reference signal interference.

The methods involve: coupling a Transponder and Sensor Module (TSM) to the locator beacon such that at least one condition of the locator beacon or a battery (230) of the locator beacon can be remotely monitored; periodically detecting the condition by the TSM (224); and periodically and wirelessly transmitting, from the TSM to a wireless device (222, 700) located in proximity to the TSM, a signal including information describing the condition detected by the TSM. Abstract: The present invention concern methods and apparatuses for handling public identities in an Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, network. According to a method an HSS receives a request message from an S-CSCF. The request message includes a public identity. The HSS sends a response message including the registered wildcarded public identity to the S-CSCF if the request message includes an indication that the public identity is unregistered, the request message does not include a wildcarded public identity indication, and the public identity, included in the request message, matches with a wildcarded public identity, registered in the HSS. The S-CSCF is thus enabled to fetch a user profile using the wildcarded public identity.

Abstract: Method and arrangement in base station for allocating control elements in a message comprising a predetermined number of control elements, to user equipments to be scheduled. Each user equipment is associated with a priority value, is adapted to communicate with the base station over a radio link and requires a certain number of control elements, depending on the link quality of the radio link. The method comprising sorting user equipments in a scheduling priority list and associating control elements with user equipments by selecting user equipments from the scheduling priority list and summing up the total amount of required control elements by adding the required number of control elements of each user equipment respectively, until the predetermined number of control elements in the message is reached, if two or more user equipments have been associated with the same control elements, the control elements are re-associated between the user equipments.
