The method includes determining a plurality of high-interest portions of the at least one media item based on the plurality of group interest profiles. The method also includes creating a high-interest media item that combines the plurality of high-interest portions.

Abstract: A mobile terminal transmits one or more first communication channels in a first frequency region and one or more second communication channels in a second frequency region. With the channels experiencing different fading conditions, the terminal receives separate transmit power control (TPC) commands. Instead of simply adjusting the transmit power of the channels as commanded, the terminal computes a power offset indicative of the difference between the commanded power of one or more of the first channels and the commanded power of one or more of the second channels. The terminal then selectively performs transmit power control of the first and second channels on either an independent basis, according to the respective TPC commands, or a joint basis, depending on whether the computed power offset falls outside of a pre-determined range of values. In doing so, the terminal allows independent control of channels, while also mitigating self-interference and/or spectral emissions.

Abstract: Techniques for displaying images with an active-matrix liquid-crystal display. These techniques are particularly applicable to small displays, produced, for example, on silicon substrates (in LCOS, or liquid-crystal on silicon, technology). An auxiliary storage capacitor is formed on the drive transistor of a pixel, such that the drive transistor is formed between the liquid crystal and the storage capacitor. The capacitor includes multiple parallel partial capacitors each having an interdigitated structure in a respective metallization level. The metallizations (aluminum and/or copper) are opaque and the capacitor therefore protects the transistor from light, the level of protection being increased with the number of metallization levels used to form the interdigitated structures.

An intermediate broker operates between service providers to enable the transfer to be separated into two local e-money transactions from point of view of the service providers. The controller then receives at least one measurement report of the radio resource-related data and, as a function of the radio resource-related data in the first cell region, dynamically reallocates the distribution of resources, such as radio-frequency channels associated with uplink and downlink communications, between the first cell region and at least a second cell region.

Abstract: A radio network system employing a method with dynamic adjustment of the power offset that provides a “per-UE”-NACK to ACK power offset calculation method instead of using a fixed offset for all users in the cell is disclosed. Also for each UE, the power offset can adjusted dynamically. The adjustment is based on the error event of NACK to ACK. When an error event of NACK to ACK happens, the offset is increased, otherwise the offset is decreased. Hence, the offset can be controlled for each User Equipment for the duration of a call starting from some standard configured value is calculated and used rather than a fixed offset.
