Abstract: A candle holder secured upstanding from a cylindrical base housing a turntable which carries a record disc having plural radially spaced sound tracks of the prayer of Grace in different languages or religions. Plural radially inwardly directed elevationallly pivoted arms of different lengths are angularly spaced within the base, each carrying a needle over a different sound track and an angularly moveable radially directed bar bears on a selected one of the arms for engagement of a selected sound track.

Abstract: An impact tool is used to apply an impact blow to the underside of a portion of a roof which has been partly cut away, wherein the portion of the roof is removed for the installation of a dormer. The impact tool consists of an elongated hollow handle formed from a plurality of sections, wherein the sections permit length adjustment of the handle. A heavy weight element communicates with an upper free end of a top section and a rubber cushion element communicates with a bottom end of a bottom section.

Abstract: An epilating device includes an electrically conductive grid adapted to be placed against the skin, to serve as a ground plane, and an array of needle electrodes spaced behind the grid in register with openings in the grid for setting up electrical discharges between the ends of the needle electrodes and the ends of previously shaved hair shafts protruding through the grid to erode the hair shaft and damage the hair follicle. In one embodiment adapted to set up a discharge through the longest hairs protruding through the grid, the needle electrodes are connected in common to a capacitor. In another embodiment adapted to set up simultaneous discharges to each of the hair shafts protruding through the grid, the electrodes are connected to individual capacitors.

Abstract: A cat scratching post for cats and kittens to scratch and to climb, so that they avoid climbing and tearing furniture. It includes a supporting frame and a main climbing and scratching body portion normally held at an angle to the vertical wall of a room so that the cat or kitten can easily climb it, the body portion being formed of a main backing plate in the form of a wide channel, with a series of vertically stacked corrugated cardboard sheets extending out of the channel and secured adhesively or otherwise therein, so that the cats can climb up and scratch the stacked corrugated cardboard sheets.

Abstract: A combined extension cord and grounding device includes a two conductor cable having a two prong plug at one end and a housing on the other end carrying a three element socket. A grounding wire connected to a ground socket element thereof is wound about a reel within the housing and a free end of the wire exits the housing and is terminated with an alligator clip. A crank handle carried by the housing engages the reel for manual rotation thereof for selective deployment of the grounding wire.

Abstract: An extensible telescoping pole device for aid in mooring boats to mooring posts, docks and other objects. It includes a hollow main tubular base section with an attached handle which may be floatable to sustain the pole device if dropped into the water, and has one or more extension tubes which fit one into the other telescopically for extension in length. An outer loop portion which may be annular in shape, is carried on the end of the outermost extension tube to fit over a mooring post for bringing the boat carefully and slowly up to the dock for tying up. The entire device may be made of lightweight metal, or strong plastic tubing, and retractable for easy storage.

Abstract: A spring holder tool is used to maintain a helical shaped frame support of an automobile in a compressed state. A circular shaped member having a cup shaped depression on the top lateral face is affixed to the end of a horizontal trihedron shaped extension arm wherein the horizontal extension arm is supported by a movable vertical support assembly. The circular shaped member is inserted between two convolutions of an expanded support spring. When the expansion force is released from the support spring, the portion of the support spring above the spring holder tube is maintained in a compressed state at a given vertical height.

Abstract: A toy bank for receiving and segregating coins for different budgetary purposes includes a base portion in the shape of a bird nest which carries three drawers. Each of three bird figures formed on top of the base have an open beak exposing a coin slot in the figure leading through a channel to a different one of the three drawers. Each coin slot is of the same size.

Abstract: The open areas along the lower edge of a wire fence are blocked by two adjacent angle guards on opposite sides of the fence. One of the angle guards includes a bend at the top which overlaps the other shorter angle guard. The bent portion is slotted at intervals along the length of the fence to receive the interleaved wires while the sections between the slots extends through the openings in the wire mesh to overlap the top of the other angle guard. Bolts through holes in the vertical sides of the angles secure the two guards together and anchor pegs through holes in the horizontal base plates hold the guards in the ground. This clears the area along the fence of weeds and undergrowth and acts as a guide for a lawn mower to facilitate trimming grass at the edges of the fence guard.

Abstract: A water injection system includes generally cylindrical fluid valve bodies mounted protruding into each combustion cylinder of an internal combustion engine. The fluid valve bodies are supplied with water from a pump and are actuated by rocker arms and rods following a cam shaft driven synchronously by the engine for injection of water during a predetermined portion of the combustion cycle in each cylinder.

Abstract: A dual purpose pipe and tobacco pack, such that the invention results in two effects: (1) providing a tobacco pack for the pipe, and (2) providing a modified pipe, therefore, one may clean out the ashes after smoking easily and always keep the pipe clean. The foregoing accomplished by a two piece bowl formed of complimentary half sections, means connecting the two and a tobacco cartridge comprising a hollow walled cylinder open at one end and including a hollow shank portion communicating with the interior of the bowl of the pipe, the cylinder adapted to receive and retain tobacco.

Abstract: A razor cutting comb and brush includes a head portion having brush bristles on one side and plural spaced apart combs on the other side. A double edged razor blade cartridge including a pair of opposed cylindrical guide ribs and friction ribs directed perpendicular to the guide ribs is slideably carried in a pocket formed in the thickness of the head portion and retained in place by the friction ribs. Protrusions on the blade cartridge provide a grip for slideable adjusting the height of one of its blades along the brush bristles or the other of its blades between the combs.

Abstract: A dancing doll is positioned on a thin platform, wherein the platform is vibrated by means of an electromechanical vibrator communicating with the bottom surface of the platform. The dancing doll consists of a body portion, a head portion joined to the body portion by a spring assembly, loosely jointed arms and legs communicating with the body portion, and feet member communicating the legs. A elongated rod is detachably secured into a center of the back of the body portion. A control switch handle is affixed to the free end of the elongated rod. The user holds the elongated rod in a horizontal, wherein the feet of the dancing doll engages the platform. The rate of vibration of the platform is controlled by a rheostatic unit contained within the control switch handle. The vibrator of the platform causes the legs and arms of the dancing doll to swing in an erratic way, wherein the doll performs a dance on the vibrating platform.

Abstract: An adjustable footboard is disclosed in combination with a bed such as a hospital bed for allowing the occupant of the bed to move themselves in the direction of the head of the bed. The apparatus is especially useful in hospital beds, the matteress of which if foldable at several points along its longitudinal edge in order to provide extra or additional comfort to the occupant. When the mattress is folded to elevate the back of the patient in the bed, the patient's weight is shifted towards the foot of the bed which after a time, can be a source of discomfort to the patient but can be relieved by providing the adjustable footboard that is automatically brought into contact with the patient's feet to allow the patient to reposition themselves.

Abstract: A tool for stretching barbed wire fencing to a fence post includes a wooden arm and a pivotly mounted wooden lever having metal jaws secured thereto in opposed relationship. The jaws have integral planar tongues positioned in stacked relationship between the arm and the lever. A pivot pin passes through the arm, lever and tongues. One edge of the arm has a concave surface covered with a sheet metal facing for engagement against the fence post.
