Abstract: A modular construction system light matrix comprising a housing having side walls, an end wall and a front edge encircling a front opening of said housing. The light matrix has an array of light emitting elements. The light matrix has a compartment grid, arranged in said housing and having compartment grid walls extending towards said front opening of the housing, one compartment for each light emitting element. The light matrix has a light diffusing element arranged at said opening of the housing having a plurality of diffuser tiles, each diffuser tile covering a compartment of the compartment grid. The diffusing element comprises a diffuser grid providing a barrier between mutually facing sidewalls of the diffuser tiles. The diffuser grid is formed in a different material from the diffuser tiles. A lower side of the diffuser grid adapted to abut an upper side of the compartment grid.

Abstract: An electronic toy including a sensor for detecting movement, a reader for detecting markers in a proximity of the electronic toy, a user-interface for providing a user-perceptible output, and a processing unit. The processing unit is configured to control the user-interface responsive to a detected movement and a detected marker, enter an active play state responsive to a first trigger event representative of a start of a play activity, process information about movements detected by the sensor while the processing unit is in the active play state and information about markers detected by the reader while the processing unit is in the active play state to compute a result score associated with the play activity, control the user-interface to provide a user-perceptible output based on the computed result score, and exit the active play state responsive to a second trigger event representative of an end of a play activity.

Abstract: An injection-molding tool comprising at least two separate mold plates each having a mold insert socket with a mold insert attached in the mold insert socket. Each mold plate have mutually opposite and parallel abutting side faces defining the thickness of the mold plate and a number of mutually aligned guide bushings forming through holes adapted for axially sliding one of the mold plates with respect to the other on a common guide pin in a direction perpendicular to the abutting side faces of the mold plates. The guide bushings and the mold insert socket of at least one mold plate am interconnected via one or more connection plates each extending parallel to the abutting side faces and having a thickness of less than half the thickness of the mold plate.
Abstract: A battery compartment for a toy figurine including an elongate cavity configured to receive a battery. The battery compartment has a first spring connector defining a positive contact surface for connection to the battery received in the elongate cavity. The battery compartment also has a battery shoulder mounted to the spring connector. The battery shoulder defines a hole shaped to fit a positive terminal of the battery therethrough. The battery compartment includes a second siring connector defining a negative contact surface for connection to the battery received in the elongate cavity. The second spring connector is configured to elastically maneuver to lengthen the donate cavity.
Abstract: An interactive music play system, comprising a plurality of toy elements, an image capturing device, a processing unit and a music rendering device; wherein the image capturing device is configured to capture one or more images of a user-selected subset of said toy elements arranged in a field of view of the image capturing device; wherein the processing unit is configured to: recognise the user-selected subset of toy elements in the one or more captured images; create a musical presentation based on one or more of the recognised toy elements; cause the music rendering device to present the created musical presentation to the user.
Abstract: A mold box containing a bearing assembly arranged between the guide surfaces of a guide rail pillar. The bearing assembly has a bearing element that contains a main body art capable of receiving the guide rail pillar. The bearing element also has a first bearing surface and a second bearing surface that can be arranged in a common plane, parallel to the planar guide surfaces and spaced apart in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The first and second bearing surfaces are separated by an intermediary surface portion that is retracted from the common plane. Cavities formed in the bearing element are located below each of the first and second bearing surfaces, such the bearing element is provided with a resilience relative to the main body part.
Abstract: A modular toy system comprising a plurality of separate electronic toy modules, each electronic toy module comprising a function device operable to perform a user-perceptible function and a control circuit for controlling the function device; wherein at least a first electronic toy module of the plurality of electronic toy modules comprises a first control circuit, a first function device and a sensor system configured for contactless detection of respective coordinate values of at least two coordinates, each coordinate being indicative of a position or an orientation of at least a second electronic toy module of the plurality of electronic toy modules relative to the first electronic toy module; and wherein the first control circuit is configured to control operation of the first function device based on one or more of the detected coordinate values.
