  • Patent number: 11504623
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of creating a virtual game environment. The method comprises: selecting one or more physical objects according to pre-determined physical properties; providing a physical model of the game environment/scene using the selected physical objects; scanning the physical model to obtain a digital three dimensional representation of the physical model including information on the pre-determined physical properties; converting the digital three-dimensional representation of the physical model into a virtual toy construction model made up of virtual toy construction elements; and defining game-controlling elements in the virtual toy construction model using information on the pre-determined physical properties, thereby creating the virtual game environment/scene. The invention further relates to an interactive game system including an implementation of the method.

  • Patent number: 11491415
Abstract: A connector element for a construction system, the construction system having first and second construction elements. The first type of construction elements comprising at least one construction element having connector knobs formed on a surface thereof and arranged in a regular two-dimensional lattice. The second type of construction elements comprising at least one construction element configured to cooperate with a connector peg to form a snap connection. The connector element comprising an elongate body having first and second ends and a longitudinal axis (A1). The first end having a first cylindrical connector portion, having an inner surface configured to form a friction fit, and an outer surface configured to form a friction fit between four neighbouring connector knobs formed on a first type of construction element. A second cylindrical connector portion configured to form a snap connection with the cylindrical connector opening of the second type of construction elements.

  • Patent number: 11478708
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for constructing an interactive virtual object in a virtual environment implemented in a computer, wherein the computer comprises one or more input devices and one or more output devices providing a user interface allowing a user to interact with the virtual environment, wherein the virtual environment comprises a first virtual construction element carrying a first interactive behavior and a second virtual construction element not carrying the first interactive behavior, wherein the first and second virtual construction elements are connectable to each other by means of a coupling mechanism to form a combined virtual object, and wherein the first virtual construction element imparts the first interactive behavior to the combined virtual object when the first and second construction elements are connected to each other.
