  • Patent number: 9799424
Abstract: An electric lead contains at least three conductors. Each of conductors has a line which is surrounded by a conductor sheath. Two of the conductors are embodied as signal conductors, and form, with a common partial lead sheath surrounding them, a first partial lead, in particular a signal lead. Another of the conductors is embodied as a power conductor and forms a second partial lead, in particular a power lead. The conductors are surrounded by a separating sleeve, which is in turn surrounded by a common sheath of the electric lead. The lead is characterized in that the partial lead sheath has an inner sheath section and an outer sheath section, and the outer sheath section is harder than the inner sheath section.

  • Patent number: 9753221
Abstract: An optical coupler is used to optically couple a multicore fiber with multiple optical cores to multiple individual fibers and contains a support in which the multicore fiber is embedded, the cores exiting at a polished end surface. The cores are assembled into groups along lines, and each group is oriented along a line. Waveguides of multiple planar support elements, the waveguides being introduced into the surface of the support elements, are connected to the end surface, each group of cores being coupled into a support element. In this manner, the multicore fiber can be coupled to individual fibers using planar waveguide technology.

  • Patent number: 9671561
Abstract: A coating is applied on a first end face of an optical component which includes a cladding and a core for guiding light. The first end face has a cladding front face and a core front face. The core front face is covered with a mask, the coating is applied onto the first end face, the coating s removed from the masked core front face, and for covering the core front face, a lacquer layer made of a photo resist is applied onto the first end face. The photo resist is exposed to light from the rear side only in the region of one of the front faces such that light is input on the second end face of the component only in one of the two regions, and the lacquer layer is subsequently selectively removed.

  • Patent number: 9548565
Abstract: The connector element, in particular SFP connector, contains a locking mechanism for forming a lockable plug-type connection between the connector element and a mating piece. For this purpose, a locking element is formed. The locking element is mounted in rotatably movable fashion, wherein, in the case of actuation of an actuation element, in particular a pull tab, the locking element is rotated out of a locking position into an open position. In order to exert a restoring force for return to the locking position, a spring steel sheet is disposed which is supported on a housing part and which exerts a spring force on the locking element counter to the force brought about by the actuating element. Expediently, a plurality of spring lugs are formed which exert a spring force on the locking element in different directions.

  • Publication number: 20160268021
Abstract: A data line that is designed as a coaxial cable and has a line core that extends in a line longitudinal direction. The line core has at least one conductor surrounded at least by insulation and is surrounded by a multi-layer shielding foil, which has a non-conductive layer and a conductive layer. In an overlap region, a free end edge overlaps a further partial region, wherein additionally a conductive connection of the conductive layer at the end edge to the further partial region is formed such that a transverse current flow perpendicular to the longitudinal direction within the conductive layer is enabled. The conductive connection is formed optionally as a conductive strip and/or by a beveled end edge. In particular, the data line is a data line shielded exclusively via the shielding foil. The data line is used in particular in a motor-vehicle electrical system.

  • Patent number: 9238556
Abstract: In order to ensure a reliable automated feed of connecting elements to a processing unit, an apparatus, in particular an industrial robot, is provided. The apparatus has a hose pack, in which a feed hose for connecting elements is contained as a supply line. In order to ensure reliable operation and kink protection of the feed hose, the latter is formed from an inner hose which is embedded in a over-molded hose jacket. This measure permits the integration of the feed hose into the hose pack without problems. In addition, the risk of the feed hose kinking is kept small.

  • Patent number: 9069134
Abstract: An optical assembly, which is in particular in the form of a splitter component with a so-called splitter forming a passive optical component, is produced particularly inexpensively. In a first step a plurality of splitters are produced on a common wafer by forming a corresponding conductor track pattern. In a second step optical fibers are coupled simultaneously to the connection sides of the individual splitters with the aid of a connection carrier. Then, in a third step the individual splitters with the connection carriers connected thereto are separated form one another. Only one common coupling operation for a large number of splitters is required. The splitters may then be connected to form a splitter cascade.

  • Publication number: 20140263289
Abstract: A production method produces a cable core for an induction cable in a simple and simultaneously reliable manner. In the method, a raw conductor is fed continuously to a processing machine and separated in a recurring manner at specified length positions at a separating point so that there are two wire ends. The ends are then pulled apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of the cable and then connected again by a connector which has an insulating spacer which separates the wire ends from each other by a specified distance. The connector is preferably configured as an injection molded part, in particular using the online process. A plurality of such cable cores are connected to each other via a cabling process and then enclosed by a cable sleeve to produce the induction cable.
