  • Publication number: 20120294571
Abstract: A plug element, in particular a so-called small form-factor pluggable connector, has a reliable, effective and easily mountable locking mechanism. To accomplish this, an arrangement of a locking element and an actuating element inside of a housing of the connector element is provided. The locking element contains a detent element for latching and locking with a mating piece, into which the connector element can be inserted to form a lockable plug connection. The actuating element contains a grip part, which is guided through a first opening through the housing to the outside.

  • Publication number: 20120237161
Abstract: An optical assembly, which is in particular in the form of a splitter component with a so-called splitter forming a passive optical component, is produced particularly inexpensively. In a first step a plurality of splitters are produced on a common wafer by forming a corresponding conductor track pattern. In a second step optical fibers are coupled simultaneously to the connection sides of the individual splitters with the aid of a connection carrier. Then, in a third step the individual splitters with the connection carriers connected thereto are separated form one another. Only one common coupling operation for a large number of splitters is required. The splitters may then be connected to form a splitter cascade.

  • Publication number: 20120178282
Abstract: A data cable connector module with a fixation element for the positioning and fixation of the cable conductors of a multi core cable, conductor receiving units for bent IDCs, IDC receiving units for fixation of connected IDCs; a centric metallic shield star electrically conductively connected with a fixation element housing; and a contact module with a contact module metal housing, an isolation socket for the reception of bent slide circuit board contacts; at least one circuit board, a front connector face; and a fixation element connector face with at least one end isolator block guided plug-in contacts, the fixation element and the contact module being developed so that they can be brought into contact with the IDCs, causing the cable conductors of the fixation element to be electrically conductively connected with the slide contacts of the contact module; and a process for the assembly of the module to a cable.

  • Patent number: 8117939
Abstract: In order to enable a compensating movement of a supply line (38) in an industrial robot (32), a line guide device is provided that, in particular, has a telescopic fork design. A slideway element (4) is provided, which is fastened to a rear robot arm (30) and through which a slide rod (6) is displaceably guided. A first clip (24) is placed on the front end of the slide rod (6), and the supply line (38) is fastened in a clamped manner inside this clip.

  • Publication number: 20090260847
Abstract: A data transmission cable (2) comprises at least one pair of wires (4) comprising two wires (6) lying parallel to each other, each with an electrical conductor (8) surrounded by an insulation (10). The pair of wires (4) is sheathed over its length by a foil (12) with an electrically conducting inner side (14) and an electrically insulating outer side (16). To improve the electrical properties of the data transmission cable (2), the foil (12) has a longitudinal fold (18), so that the inner side (14) is directed outward, an additional wire (20), which contacts the inner side (14) made to face outward, being laid on the foil (12).
