Abstract: An apparatus for processing a media signal and method thereof are disclosed, by which the media signal can be converted to a surround signal a surround signal by using spatial information of the media signal. The present invention provides a method of processing a signal, the method comprising of generating source mapping information corresponding to each source of multi-sources by using spatial information indicating features between the multi-sources; generating at least one rendering information by using the source mapping information and filter information having a surround effect; and performing interpolation by using neighbor rendering information of the at least one rendering information.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a door gasket and a method of manufacturing the same. In the present invention, an expansible insulating portion (24) is formed integrally with an anchor portion (22) of a door gasket (20), and the interior of the expansible insulating portion (24) is filled with a soft foam (28). The soft foam (28) is made of a soft material with superior insulation property. Here, the anchor portion (22) may be made of synthetic resin or rubber, and the soft foam (28) may be made of any one of soft urethane, polyethylene, ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber (EPDM rubber), nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), and styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), such as compressed sponge.

Abstract: A dryer and a dryer control method using a sensing unit and a timer to vary drying operations depending on the state of drying laundry are disclosed. The method for controlling an automatic dryer having a drying part including a heater, a fan, and a drum includes the steps of operating the drying part while monitoring an internal temperature and an internal humidity of the drum, continuously operating the heater, the fan, and the drum until the internal temperature reaches a predetermined temperature, and operating the fan intermittently when the internal temperature reaches the predetermined temperature. The method further includes operating the heater intermittently when the internal humidity reaches a predetermined humidity, discontinuing heater operation upon lapse of a first predetermined time, discontinuing fan operation upon lapse of a second predetermined time, and discontinuing drum operation upon lapse of a third predetermined time.

Abstract: A mobile ad-hoc network system includes: a plurality of mobile terminals; and a central control means for setting an optimal route among terminals, performing connection with an infrastructure network and connecting networks using different wireless access technologies. By including the central control means, the ad-hoc network system can overcome the limitation of the related art ad-hoc network and provide a network service with high quality and stability to each terminal.

Abstract: Three-dimensional models with three-dimensional coordinates for a certain area to be displayed on the screen based on coordinates of a reference position are received. The received three-dimensional models are classified according to the positions of nodes of polygons for the three-dimensional models. As for the three-dimensional models of which the nodes of the polygons exist on the same plane, they are displayed on the screen through automatic triangulation using a general three-dimensional graphic library. As for the three-dimensional models of which the nodes of the polygons do not exist on the same plane, they are displayed on the screen by converting the three-dimensional coordinates of the nodes of the polygons into three-dimensional coordinates based on a view point, converting the converted three-dimensional coordinates into two-dimensional coordinates through projection conversion onto a projection plane, and converting the two-dimensional coordinates into screen coordinates.

Abstract: A digital Vestigial Sideband (VSB) transmission system and enhanced data multiplexing method are disclosed. When 1/2 enhanced data coded at a rate of 1/2 and 1/4 enhanced data at a rate of 1/4 are transmitted, timing jitter in Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) of Vestigial Sideband (VSB) receiver can be reduced and the size of input buffer in Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) decoder of the Vestigial Sideband (VSB) receiver can be reduced by multiplexing the 1/2 enhanced data packet and the 1/4 data packet at predetermined intervals. Multiplexing the 1/2 enhanced data packet and the 1/4 data packet by grouping increases the reception performance of the 1/4 enhanced data. Multiplexing the 1/2 enhanced data packet and the 1/4 data packet alternatively reduces the Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) timing jitter in the Vestigial Sideband (VSB) receiver and increases the reception performance of the 1/4 enhanced data.

Abstract: A heat exchanger of an air conditioner comprising: at least one or more refrigerant inlets for connecting a compressor for compressing refrigerant to an expansion device for expanding condensed refrigerant via a piping and for receiving high temperature/pressure refrigerant coming from the compressor via a four-way valve; at least one or more refrigerant outlets for discharging the refrigerant to the expansion device, wherein the number of the refrigerant outlets is greater than that of the refrigerant inlets, such that same performances can be achieved for both the cooling and heating purposes albeit the heat exchanger being simplified in the structure thereof, and manufacturing cost can be reduced to thereby improve the productivity.

Abstract: A system for more effective control and management on remote Integrated Circuit (IC) is disclosed. In order to achieve this, there is provided a system for controlling remote IC using Internet and a method for operating the same, the system includes a network for a manufacturer who manufactures products containing IC and has managing system for managing the products, being connected to each IC using an identification number of IC, respectively; an IC designer network having a corresponding program for IC setup operation that helps the designer to design and sell the IC to the manufacturer; and, a relay service company network having a plurality of manufacturer network and a plurality of IC designer network connected to on-line, and a corresponding URL (Uniform Resource Locator) data of each IC designer network that enables the relay service company to connect to a corresponding IC designer network whenever there is a data request from a manufacturer network and to exchange data each other.
