  • Patent number: 10323799
Abstract: A light-emitting diode (LED) filament with a heat-dissipating structure includes multiple LED chips, multiple conductive carriers and a package layer. Each conductive carrier takes the form of a metal sheet and the multiple conductive carriers are spaced apart from each other. Each LED chip is commonly carried by and is electrically connected to two of the multiple conductive carriers adjacent to the LED chip. The package layer covers the multiple LED chips and the multiple conductive carriers with two lateral edge portions of each conductive carrier exposed from the package layer. The LED filament is mounted inside a light bulb. Because the multiple conductive carriers are partially exposed from the package layer, heat generated by the multiple LED chips can be dissipated to an ambient environment without affecting lighting efficiency and light output as a result of accumulated heat.

  • Patent number: 9945532
Abstract: A light-emitting diode (LED) light source includes a plurality of electricity-conducting holding elements, and each electricity-conducting holding element is made of a thin metal sheet. The bendable LED light source increases installation of sufficient number of LED dies by lengthening the length of the LED light source. The LED light source is bent to form a spring-like helical structure and then is placed inside a lamp cover. The helical LED light source is fastened on a T-shaped element by a plurality of fastening elements and the T-shaped element is fixed on an insulated holder. Accordingly, a bulb-type LED lamp is implemented.

  • Patent number: 8974091
Abstract: A heat-dissipating structure for an LED lamp has a lamp cover, and a power conversion device and a ceramic substrate mounted inside the lamp cover. The lamp cover has multiple heat-dissipating holes and multiple mounting ears. Each mounting ear is formed on an edge of one of the heat-dissipating holes and is bent inwardly with the heat-dissipating hole uncovered. The ceramic substrate is mounted on the mounting ears. The ceramic substrate has multiple LEDs mounted thereon, absorbs heat generated when the LEDs emit light and conducts the heat to the lamp cover through the mounting ears. The heat generated when the LEDs are lit and the power conversion converts a mains power is transferred to a heat convection space between the ceramic substrate and the lamp cover, and is further dissipated to an ambient environment, thereby achieving fast heat dissipation and a light LED lamp without an additional heat sink thereon.

  • Patent number: 8860309
Abstract: The multi-tubular LED light bulb has a seat having a power plug, multiple glass tubes mounted on the seat, multiple multi-directional lighting LED strips respectively mounted inside the glass tubes and an AC to DC converting circuit board mounted inside the seat and connected to the power plug to obtain AC power and converting the AC power to DC power. The multi-directional lighting LED strips are electronically connected to the DC power source from the AC to DC converting circuit in parallel. Since the LED light bulb has multiple multi-directional lighting LED strips, different directional sightings and even brightness are provided. Further, heat from the LED strip is easily and quickly transmitted to the sidewall of the glass tube to extend the lifetime of the LED light bulb, since the multi-directional lighting LED strips are close to a sidewall of the corresponding glass tube.

  • Publication number: 20140092596
Abstract: A light source is provided including a heat sink and a printed circuit board (PCB) with a driver and lamps disposed in the central cavity of the heat sink. Each lamp is a semi-spherical solid state lamp, and multiple optical structures in operable registration with lamps. The PCB may further have two heat conducting strips proximate opposing edges of the PCB. The optical structures emit substantially shadowless, substantially homogeneous, and substantially monochromatic light. The optical structure includes an optical element for each lamp that substantially collimates the lamp's light and an optical element receiving a portion of the substantially collimated beam and provides multiple optical images of the collimated beam with a focal point that is practically infinite.

  • Patent number: 8556462
Abstract: An LED lighting device has a cap, a circuit board assembly and a bulb envelope. The circuit board assembly is electrically mounted on the cap and has multiple circuit boards intersecting to each other to form a light frame with a crisscross section, and has multiple LEDs mounted on the circuit boards. The circuit board assembly may further have a top circuit board mounted on one end of the light frame. The top circuit board also has multiple LEDs mounted thereon. Sine the circuit boards intersect to each other to constitute the light frame, the light frame provides a large surface area for mounting a lot number of LEDs. Therefore, the LED lighting device is able to provide a wide angle illumination with enhanced lighting intensity.
