  • Patent number: 11758632
Abstract: A system and method for controlling a multiplicity of luminaries connected to a single wire pair. The luminaries contain minimum circuitry to allow dimming and color tuning by pulses on the wire pair without the need for a separate control wire or control communication bus or network. A single luminary can be color tuned to many different colors as well as dimmed and turned on and off. A driver module drives the wire pair and receives commands over a network The driver module contains a pulse generation circuit that generates and applies pulses to the two-wire output. The amplitude of some the pulses control color of the luminary by selecting different LEDs in the luminary to light, while other pulses control brightness.

  • Patent number: 11639495
Abstract: Methods are described herein for isolating clonal populations of T cells having a defined genetic modification. The methods are performed, at least in part, in a microfluidic device comprising one or more sequestration pens. The methods include the steps of: maintaining individual T cells (or precursors thereof) that have undergone a genomic editing process in corresponding sequestration pens of a microfluidic device; expanding the T cells into respective clonal populations of T cells; detecting, in one or more T cells of each clonal population, the absence of a cell surface marker that was present in the individual T cells (or precursors thereof); and detecting, in one or more T cells of each clonal population, the presence of a first nucleic acid sequence that is indicative of the presence of an on-target genome edit in the clonal population of T cells. Also described are compositions comprising one or more clonal populations of T cells isolated according to the methods disclosed herein.

  • Patent number: 11635564
Abstract: A lighting assembly with a single edge lit optical configuration produces various asymmetric light distributions which provide targeted control of light output with peak intensity that is non-normal to the light guide output face. The compact form factor of the lighting assembly embodiments having narrow width are particularly well-suited for use in linear lighting applications requiring suspended, surface and recessed installations typically used to illuminate walls, floors and/or ceilings. The lighting assembly can also be selectively configured and oriented during assembly and installation to achieve various lighting distributions. Optical components within the lighting assembly are typically positioned and retained in optical alignment with internal support features of a linear housing.

  • Patent number: 11635179
Abstract: A linear lighting assembly is disclosed which produces tailored light distributions valuable in many illumination applications. The linear lighting assembly comprises a unique light scattering optical element within a single edge lit linear lighting module housing configured to fit within a linear light fixture housing, both housings capable of being fabricated in a continuous extrusion process and cut to length as need for specific linear lighting assembly lengths. Light distributions attainable using the invention include, but are not limited to, symmetric and asymmetric bi-lobed “batwing” distributions for wide area direct and indirect lighting, and tilted or asymmetric distributions for perimeter lighting. It is also possible to achieve more rounded and symmetric distributions by an additional diffuser as a cover lens. The invention is particularly well-suited for linear lighting fixtures that are surface mounted, suspended or recessed.
