Abstract: Electric device for preventing birds from perching on certain determined surfaces. The device is composed of a base made of an insulating material, and of one or more rails made of an electrically conductive material to which an electric potential is applied. The rail or rails are incorporated into the base and extend in the plane of the latter. Moreover, the rail or rails comprise blades that can be lowered individually to be parallel to said base plane, or raised by a certain angle .alpha. (.alpha. ranging from 0 to 180.degree.) with respect to the base plane. In one embodiment, the electric potential is a pulse whose energy is high enough to produce a vibration of the tips of the raised blades when the electric current propagates along the rail or rails. The vibration can be perceived by the birds from a distance, thereby dissuading them from landing on the surface.
Abstract: A press assembly for electrically testing at least one side of a printed circuit board has an upper part and a lower part, a constant gauge grid with spring contacts, an exchangeable lower adapter having a plurality of needles, each of which is engageable with a corresponding one of the spring contacts of the constant gauge grid. The circuit board to be tested is supportable on the lower adapter and a lower insulating sheet is disposed between the adapter and the grid. The insulating sheet is provided with a plurality of holes for the passage of the plurality of needles, and has a thickness which is coordinated to the height of the lower adapter and the length of the plurality of needles.
Abstract: A machine and relative press assembly for electrically testing a printed circuit board, including a frame (1) supporting a press with parallel planes, said press having a printed circuit loading area (3), a test area (4) and a parking area (5) for the upper head of the press, as well as a mechanism for moving said head (100) from the test area (4) to the parking area (5) and vice versa, to allow manual loading of the circuits to be tested directly in the test area (4) and a mechanism for moving the circuit boards from the loading area (3) to the test area (4) and vice versa, in the case of automatic or semi-automatic loading, thus creating two distinct work sections that can be used selectively by a single operator.
Abstract: Prosthetic implant for prosthodontics which comprises an elongated intrabony body made of titanium which is to be substantially fully inserted within a receptacle formed in a mandibular or maxillary bone. The intrabony body has, at its proximal end which is to be located at the surface layer of the mandibular or maxillary bone, engagement means for a stump that supports a false tooth or a prosthesis. The external surface of the intrabony body has a roughness that is adapted to increase its integration with the bone except for a smooth portion which is provided starting from the proximal end.
Abstract: The milling head (1) comprises:a principal body (2),an interposed piece (5), which is mounted to rotate on the principal body (2) and which is equipped with a first crown gear (12a),means for driving and for blocking in rotation the interposed piece (5) with respect to the body (2),a spindle-holder (3), which is mounted to rotate along axis XX' with respect to the interposed piece (5), on which is fixed a second crown (12b) adapted to mesh with the first crown (12a), and which is mobile in translation along axis XX' between a position of blockage in rotation in which the crown gears (12a, 12b) mesh in one another, and a position of setting in rotation in which the two crown gears (12a, 12b) are out of mesh, means (13) for setting in translation the spindle-holder (3) between the positions of blockage and of setting in rotation, and means (17, 18, 19) for setting in rotation the spindle-holder (3) along axis XX'.
Abstract: A system for marking printed circuit boards (4), that can be applied to machines (1) for electrically testing printed circuit boards, in which the circuit to be tested is positioned in the test area of the machine, where a constant-pitch grid, or pin bed is provided, with an adapter (6) interposed between said pin bed and the printed circuit board (4), the marking system comprising at least one marking element (20) located in the adapter (6) and including a pad (21) that is moved linearly by means of an electric actuator (27, 26, 25), on a command given by the testing machine itself, through a pair of points in the pin bed.
Abstract: A combined set of household electrical appliances and a handgrip therefor, includes a handgrip element removably coupleable with the bodies of electrical household appliances. The handgrip element has a coupling element removably coupleable with a corresponding coupling seat defined by the electric household appliances. The handgrip element is provided with a connecting cable for connection to the mains connected to electric contacts provided at the coupling element and adapted to be arranged in electric conduction connection to coupling electric contacts provided in the cited coupling seat.

Abstract: The machine allows filling of internally sterile plastic bags with any liquid and sealing them. The machine comprises: liquid-proportioning apparatus (1), jaws (17, 18) suitable for pneumatically holding the upper lips of the bag to be able to open, fill, close it by heat-sealing (jaws 7, 8). The most important part of the machine consists of devices (10, 11, 12) able to control the jaws to open the bag with cosinusoidal law acceleration, slowly at first, preventing detachment of the upper lips of the bag during opening, and then rapidly operating so as not to delay the successive operations of: closing, sealing and discharging of the filled bag. These devices consist of a toggle-joint lever system. They make possible a notable daily production of filled and heat-sealed bags with a single proportioning and heat-sealing station, or with a limited number of stations.
Abstract: Apparatus for the continuous mixing and homogenization of powdered substances, such as powdered milk, with water or other beverages, comprises a hopper (1) with vibrating sieve (2) and a screw (3) situated at the base of the hopper and actuated with variable angular velocity by a motor (4). The powdered substance is transported by the screw to a nozzle (5) opening into a converging-diverging chamber (6) which functions as Venturi tube. The liquid enters from an injection conduit (7) and is mixed with the powder and the mixture is carried to a homogenization turbine (9, 10) from which it is discharged completely homogenized.
