  • Patent number: 8758319
Abstract: In a standing part (342) of each side wall part (34) in an absorbent product (1), an inwardly bending part (3423) is formed between a first elastic member (35) and a second elastic member (36). When the absorbent product (1) is worn, the inwardly bending part (3423) where no elastic member is provided comes into contact with a wearer to be deformed into surface shape, and a portion in the vicinity of the inwardly bending part (3423) and the first elastic member (35) contacts with the wearer in surface shape. Therefore, the wearer is prevented from being compressed excessively by the first elastic member (35) and the second elastic member (36) and excrement is prevented from leaking out to the outer side of the absorbent product (1).

  • Publication number: 20140144587
Abstract: An absorbent sheet manufacturing apparatus has a cylinder part having a plurality of concave portions arranged in a circumferential direction, a particle filling part which is located above the cylinder part and which stores particles of high-absorbent resin, to sequentially fill the plurality of concave portions with particles by a particle filling opening in its lower end, and a communication part which is located adjacent to the particle filling opening. A concave portion facing a posterior edge of the particle filling opening is brought into communication with external space through the communication part. Therefore, when particles are filled into the concave portion from the particle filling part, air in the concave portion is forced out by particles entering the concave portion and is easily discharged to the external space through the communication part. As a result, it is possible to increase a density of particles filled in the concave portion.

  • Publication number: 20140144586
Abstract: An absorbent sheet manufacturing apparatus is provided with a cylinder part (21) having a plurality of through-holes (212) arranged in a circumferential direction. The cylinder part (21) is rotated, and therefore particles of high-absorbent resin are sequentially filled into the through-holes (212) from a particle storage space (217) in the cylinder part (21). In a particle supply region (210) of a lower portion of the cylinder part (21), the inner side surface (215) of the cylinder part (21) is covered with an isolation part (25) so that each through-hole (212) filled with particles is isolated from the particle storage space (217). And in this state, particles are ejected from the through-hole (212). As above, only particles filled in each through-hole (212) are ejected, and therefore a desired amount of particles can be easily supplied from the through-hole (212).

  • Publication number: 20140138031
Abstract: Concave portions filled with particles of high-absorbent resin are arranged on a side surface of a cylinder part in its circumferential direction. When each concave portion passes about the lowermost portion, the particles are ejected. A first roller conveys a first sheet member so that the first sheet member passes near the above lowermost portion. A second roller is located anterior to the above lowermost portion with respect to a moving direction of the side surface of the cylinder part at the above lowermost portion, and conveys a second sheet member to the vicinity of the above lowermost portion, to place the second sheet member on the first sheet member which has been supplied with particles. In the second roller, annular grooves are formed on the side surface. Therefore, impact on particles which collide with the second sheet member on the second roller is absorbed and scattering of particles is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20140124143
Abstract: In an absorbent sheet manufacturing apparatus, a first roller (31) and a third roller (51) are rotated while each first concave portion (312) faces a convex portion (512), and therefore sheet concave portion rows (913) are formed on a first sheet member (91). The first sheet member (91) is transferred from a first roller-outer side surface (311) to a cylinder-outer side surface (211) of a supply cylinder (21), and a lower portion of the cylinder-outer side surface (211) is in contact with the first sheet member (91) while supply concave portions (212) supplied with particles face the sheet concave portion rows (913). Therefore, particles can be supplied accurately into each sheet concave portion (912) included in the sheet concave portion rows (913) and be held in the sheet concave portion (912) while the particles are practically prevented from scattering to the outside of the sheet concave portion (912).

  • Publication number: 20140116626
Abstract: Concave portions filled with particles of high-absorbent resin are arranged on an outer side surface of a cylinder part in a circumferential direction. When each concave portion passes an ejection start position lying posterior to the lowermost portion in a rotation direction, particles are ejected along a tangent line of the side surface at the ejection start position. A sheet conveying roller is located near the above lowermost portion. Annular grooves facing concave portions are formed on an outer side surface of the roller along a circumferential direction. The roller conveys a sheet member along its side surface so that the sheet member passes near the above lowermost portion. In the sheet member, groove portions corresponding to the annular grooves are formed. Since the tangent line intersects with the side surface of the roller, it is possible to eject particles into the groove portions and reduce scattering of particles.

  • Patent number: 8709581
Abstract: In an outer covering sheet of an absorbent product, first, second and third adhesive layer elements each extending in a left-right direction are formed on a second covering sheet by spiral spray application. Each of these adhesive layer elements has wide width parts and narrow width parts which are continuous with the wide width parts, respectively. Therefore, hot melt adhesive can be stably discharged across the entire length of the adhesive layer element, unlike in the case where only wide width parts are formed intermittently. As a result, it is possible to obtain the outer covering sheet which is a sheet member having the adhesive layer elements with desired shapes where unevenness is decreased. In the absorbent product which is manufactured with use of the sheet member, the comfort level of the wearer can be prevented from decreasing due to unevenness of thickness of the adhesive layer elements.

  • Publication number: 20140099429
Abstract: In an absorbent sheet manufacturing apparatus, a storage part stores speed determining information including relationships between conveying speed of a first sheet member and rotational speed of a supply cylinder and corresponding respectively to target particle densities. A control part determines the rotational speed of the supply cylinder on the basis of a target particle density, the conveying speed and the speed determining information. Even if various changes are made to the conveying speed of the first sheet member, the amount of particles supplied can be accurately controlled such that the density of particles on the first sheet member matches the target particle density. Even if various changes are made to the target particle density, the amount of particles supplied can be accurately controlled in consideration of the conveying speed such that the density of particles matches the target particle density.

  • Patent number: 8686217
Abstract: An absorbent product has a top sheet, an absorbent core and a back sheet. The absorbent core includes 40% by weight or more of high absorbent resin powder and it is possible to slim down the absorbent core while keeping a sufficient amount of absorption to thereby achieve slimming down of the absorbent product. A top sheet lower part contacting the high absorbent resin powder in the absorbent core includes hydrophilic fibers having water retention characteristics, and moisture is temporarily retained in the top sheet lower part before reaching the absorbent core and rapidly disperses in a range facing the absorbent core of the top sheet lower part. As a result, it is possible to reliably absorb the moisture of excrement in the absorbent core and to simplify a structure of the absorbent product.

  • Publication number: 20130226126
Abstract: An absorbent body of a diaper has a central absorbent core, a pair of side absorbent cores and a pair of side elastic members. The side elastic members lie left and right of a front portion of the central absorbent core. The side absorbent cores lie left and right of rear and middle portions of the central absorbent core. In the diaper, by contraction of the side elastic members, the side absorbent cores come into close contact with the insides of thighs of a wearer, and urine is prevented from leaking from leg circumferences. Since the side absorbent cores are positioned left and right of the rear and middle portions of the central absorbent core, portions of the wearer's leg circumferences in the vicinity of the front are not covered with the side absorbent cores, and interference with leg movement of the wearer is prevented.

  • Publication number: 20130226127
Abstract: In a disposable diaper in a developed state where a front cover sheet and a rear cover sheet are separated from each other to be developed, as distance in a left-right direction from an absorbent body increases, a lower edge of the rear cover sheet goes away from an upper edge of the rear cover sheet and then goes toward the upper edge. A leg elastic member is bonded on the rear cover sheet along its lower edge, in left and right of the absorbent body. As above, the lower end portion of the rear cover sheet is convex downward in each of left and right of the absorbent body, and lower portions of hips of a wearer are wrapped with the lower end portions. It is therefore possible to suppress leakage of excrement from the lower portions of hips of the wearer.

  • Publication number: 20130144243
Abstract: In an absorbent product, a front pocket, a pair of side pockets and a rear pocket are formed between a back sheet member, and a front absorbent core, a pair of side absorbent cores and a rear absorbent core, and excrement which has passed through an opening is collected therein. In the absorbent product, the side absorbent cores are bonded on inner surfaces of standing gather parts. Thus, since the standing gather parts stand up, the side absorbent cores become far away from the back sheet member. Side wall parts of the side pockets have structure where the side absorbent cores are bonded on the inner surfaces of side sheets and outer covering sheet. Thus, it is possible to increase stiffness of the side wall parts of the side pockets, to thereby suppress deformation of the side wall parts due to a weight of excrement collected in the side pockets.
