    Abstract: A method for removing odors produced in a toilet main unit of a toilet is made available. Specifically, a deodorizing unit having an air expulsion port and an air suctioning port is provided in a rear portion of the toilet main unit, and air is circulated by expelling air through the expulsion port such as to laterally swirl the air along an inner surface of the toilet's bowl, and by suctioning swirled returning air via the suctioning port. Deodorization is carried out in the course of circulating the air.

When the private parts cleaning device (50) is actuated and an amount of cleaning water ejected from the cleaning nozzle (51) equals or exceeds a set amount, the cleaning water flowing into the toilet bowl (11) is caused to flow into the drainage channel (30) without being discharged via the discharge part (20) into the waste collection tub (90).

The air inlet is higher than the water level in a toilet flushing standby mode. The on-off valve opens the air inlet to allow air flow form the drain duct side in the suction chamber when flush water in the tank drops such that the float is lowered form the raised position. An embodiment includes a valve chest, a float and attracting member for on-off valve manipulation. Another embodiment includes a valve chest with a small air flow manipulation hole.

The downstream piping forms an upward flow path when the drain outlet communicates with the port.

The first airtight chamber sucks air in the first chamber to move the diaphragm upward.
