Publication number: 20210110244Abstract: Use of a NAND array architecture to realize a binary neural network (BNN) allows for matrix multiplication and accumulation to be performed within the memory array. A unit synapse for storing a weight of a BNN is stored in a pair of series connected memory cells. A binary input is applied on a pair of word lines connected to the unit synapse to perform the multiplication of the input with the weight. The results of such multiplications are determined by a sense amplifier, with the results accumulated by a counter. The arrangement extends to ternary inputs to realize a ternary-binary network (TBN) by adding a circuit to detect 0 input values and adjust the accumulated count accordingly. The arrangement further extends to a ternary-ternary network (TTN) by allowing 0 weight values in a unit synapse, maintaining the number of 0 weights in a register, and adjusting the count accordingly.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 15, 2019Publication date: April 15, 2021Applicant: SanDisk Technologies LLCInventors: Tung Thanh Hoang, Won Ho Choi, Martin Lueker-Boden

Publication number: 20210110494Abstract: A digital platform enables 3D printing where the designs are protected from piracy/redistribution. A single board computer (SBC) communicates with a first server and a second server. The SBC requests a unique hardware ID from the first server, which assigns and sends the ID to the SBC. The SBC submits the ID and a secret key to the second server to request registration of a user and a printer, and the second server sends private certs, a client ID, and a unique public identifier to the SBC. The second server also receives and stores 3D print designs through a designer portal, and on-demand displays the designs in a GUI screen. The SBC user may purchase a 3D print design, and the second server, in response, sends an access token to the SBC.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 29, 2020Publication date: April 15, 2021Applicant: Kaboodl, LLCInventors: Francesco L. Publication number: 20210110902Abstract: A system and method to reduce and manage patient monitoring alarms utilizing a longitudinal, analytics-based analysis. The method includes a patient monitoring system receiving monitored data from one or more patients and generating threshold alerts for each patient based upon alert thresholds in real time. The number of alert thresholds that occur over an analysis period is compared to an enhanced alert threshold. If the number and frequency of the threshold alerts violates an enhanced alert threshold, an enhanced indicator is generated on a display for the patient being monitored. The enhanced indicator can be generated for any one or multiple monitored data types from the patient and enhances the longitudinal monitoring of the patient over an analysis period. The enhanced indicator provides a visual indicator to the monitoring technician of the occurrence of a higher than desired number of threshold alerts over the analysis period.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 11, 2019Publication date: April 15, 2021Applicant: GE Precision Healthcare LLCInventor: Brian D.
