Furthermore, the plurality of vertically plates or wires connects from a corner of one vertically aligned tubes to a corner of an adjacent vertically aligned tube.

Abstract: Techniques to facilitate visualization of an application associated with an industrial automation environment are disclosed. In at least one implementation, a display composer interface is presented that enables a user to design a customized display layout for the application associated with the industrial automation environment. Data display instructions are received comprising a user selection of at least one data item associated with an operation of a machine in the industrial automation environment. Position information that identifies where to display the at least one data item is also received. The data display instructions and the position information are processed to generate the customized display layout for the application. Based on the customized display layout, a graphical user interface is rendered to the application having the at least one data item positioned according to the position information.

Abstract: One or more neural networks generate a first vector field from an input image and a reference image. The first vector field is applied to the input image to generate a first warped image. The training of the neural networks is evaluated via one or more objective functions. The neural networks are updated in response to the evaluating. The neural networks generate a second vector field from the input image and the reference image. A number of degrees of freedom in the first vector field is less than a number of degrees of freedom in the second vector field. The second vector field is applied to the input image to generate a second warped image. The neural networks are evaluated via the one or more objective functions, the reference image and the second warped image. The networks are updated in response to the evaluating.

Abstract: Various embodiments may be generally directed to the use of an adversarial learning framework for persona-based dialogue modeling. In some embodiments, automated multi-turn dialogue response generation may be performed using a persona-based hierarchical recurrent encoder-decoder-based generative adversarial network (phredGAN). Such a phredGAN may feature a persona-based hierarchical recurrent encoder-decoder (PHRED) generator and a conditional discriminator. In some embodiments, the conditional discriminator may include an adversarial discriminator that is provided with attribute representations as inputs. In some other embodiments, the conditional discriminator may include an attribute discriminator, and attribute representations may be handled as targets of the attribute discriminator. The embodiments are not limited in this context.

The device shifts, when the two or more second bits represent the value of 2n, the second value by (n+1) bits via the shift circuitry to provide a first result, selectively outputs zero or the second value, based on a value of the first bit of the first value, to provide a second result, and adds the first result and the second results via the add circuitry to provide a result of the multiplication of the first and second values.

The sensing circuit includes an input adapted to be coupled to the acoustic transducer, a first correlation output for providing a chirp tail correlation signal, and a second output for providing a full chirp correlation signal. The sensing circuit provides the chirp tail correlation signal in response to correlating a chirp tail signal pattern with a received signal, and provides a full chirp correlation signal in response to correlating a full chirp signal pattern with the received signal. Further, the acoustic distance measuring circuit includes a controller adapted to be coupled to the sensing circuit that has a first input for receiving the chirp tail correlation signal and the full chirp correlation signal for determining a short range time of flight signal and a long range time of flight signal.

As the linked segments are extended, each of the individual segments of the linked chains engage individual segments of adjacent linked sections to form a column. The gun comprises a charge housing disposed within a removable sleeve. The charge housing comprises a plurality of shaped charges in communication with one or more sensors. The sensors are programmed to initiate the detonation sequence of the shaped charges upon measuring set parameters. Upon detonation, the gun fragments into a plurality of pieces that may be washed away from the detonation site.

Abstract: Provided are approaches to establish a failsafe barrier to internal bleeding from percutaneous wounds to protect a patient from failed wound closure devices or related complications due to a variety of contributing factors such as state of systemic anticoagulation, errors in surgical procedure, variability in patient anatomy, and the like. Systems include a clotting agent to encase, and thus isolate, substantially the entire wound access area from the rest of the patient and an instrument, such as an intravascular introducer sheath, inserted through a wound at an access site on a vessel, for delivering the clotting agent to the entire enveloping tissue region around the accessed area as a mold cavity to be filled with the clotting agent. With benefits of patient safety, user simplicity, and low healthcare cost driving the effort, autologous whole blood is the preferred injected agent.

Abstract: Apparatus and method for separating product containing pouches from a travelling web of adhered films carried on a film support surface includes a rotary blade drum assembly having blade configurations with blade portions arranged to form the entire perimeter edge of the flange of the pouch which rotate in synchronous registration with grooves in the film support surface. In one form, at least one blade portion and associated groove portion are non-linear and other than longitudinal or transverse to the film support surface of the forming drum or travelling web of films. The blade portions may be heated and the rotary blade drum assembly may include insulating guides for the pouches.

For example, the audio profile may be securely stored in a database of a social network and associated with a user account. The audio profile may contain data describing the way in which the specific user hears and interprets sounds. Systems and applications which present sounds to the user may access the audio profile and modify the sounds presented to the user based on the data in the audio profile to enhance the audio experience for the user.

Abstract: LEDs for an illumination system may be mounted on a PCB. The PCB may be provided with alignment features such as oversized holes for connection to a support surface. Using optical sensing of the position of the mounted LEDs, the space made available by the alignment features may be reduced and aligned to create modified alignment features. The modified alignment features may be created by adding a modifying component and aligned based on the sensed positions of the mounted LEDs. The positioning of the modifying component may offset misalignment of the LEDs with the PCB. An opening in the modified alignment feature may receive a bolt or alignment pin for connection to the support surface. The support surface may be aligned with the secondary optics, resulting in the LEDs being aligned with the secondary optics irrespective of misalignment of the LEDs with respect to the PCB.
