  • Patent number: 12157501
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, that obtain scene features in an environment that includes an autonomous vehicle, a first target agent, and a second target agent, and determines whether the first target agent is an emergency vehicle that is active at a current time point. In response to determining that the first target agent is an emergency vehicle that is active at the current time point, an input is generated from the scene features. The input can characterize the scene and indicate that the first target agent is an emergency vehicle that is active at the current time point. Also in response, the input can be processed using a machine learning model that is configured to generate a trajectory prediction output for the second target agent that characterizes predicted future behavior of the second target agent after the current time point.

  • Patent number: 12157043
Abstract: A divot repair tool has a handle that extends along a plane and a prong portion having a first prong and second prong configured along a prong axis that is substantially orthogonal to the handle, or plane of the handle. This configuration enables easier manipulation of the divot repair tool to twist the ground around the divot inwards into the divot to better repair of the divot. A divot repair tool may be a monolithic part, such as a molded material or sheet of planar material that is cut and further manipulated to create the divot repair. A piece of metal may be stamped to form the general planar shape of the divot repair tool and then this stamped piece may be twisted to configure the prong axis substantially orthogonal from the handle plane and thereby form the twisted portion between the prong portion and handle.

  • Patent number: 12159206
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, for totally corrective boosting with cardinality penalization are described. One of the methods includes obtaining initialization data identifying training examples, a dictionary of weak classifiers, and an active weak classifier matrix. Iterations of a totally corrective boosting with cardinality penalization process are performed, wherein each iteration performs operations comprising selecting a weak classifier from the dictionary of weak classifiers that most violates a constraint of a dual of the primal problem. The selected weak classifier is included in the active weak classifier matrix. The primal problem is optimized, and a discrete weight vector is determined. Weak classifiers are identified from the active weak classifier matrix with respective discrete weights greater than a threshold. The regularized risk is optimized, and a continuous weight vector is determined.

  • Patent number: 12158832
Abstract: Management of a storage device is disclosed. A method for managing a storage device includes acquiring evaluation information for a candidate fitting model in candidate fitting models. The evaluation information indicates at least a historical fitting degree between the candidate fitting model and historical data. A model selection strategy is determined based on the evaluation information. The model selection strategy indicates at least a probability that the candidate fitting models is selected for fitting target data. The target data indicates a storage state of the storage device over a first time period. Further, based on the model selection strategy, a target fitting model is determined from the candidate fitting models for use in determining a storage state of the storage device over a second time period. In this manner, the fitting model suitable for actual business data can be determined more efficiently, and additional system overhead can be avoided.

  • Patent number: 12160564
Abstract: Prediction information of a current block in a current picture is decoded from a coded video bitstream, where the prediction information indicates that the current block is to be predicted based on an affine model. A plurality of affine motion parameters of the affine model is derived via affine bilateral matching in which the affine model is derived based on reference blocks in a first reference picture and a second reference picture of the current picture. The plurality of affine motion parameters is not included in the coded video bitstream. Control point motion vectors of the affine model are determined based on the derived plurality of affine motion parameters. The current block is reconstructed based on the derived affine model.
