  • Patent number: 12151588
Abstract: A power control system for a battery system of a vehicle includes one or more supplemental protection devices that are connected to at least one of a first contactor, a second contactor, one of N fuses, and one of N vehicle loads. A battery management module is configured to measure and store a plurality of state of health parameters for the battery system and to selectively operate the one or more supplemental protection devices in a coverage gap between first and second coverage areas handled by the first contactor and the second contactor and the N fuses based on a calibration function and/or calibration parameters. A telematics system selectively sends the plurality of state of health parameters for the battery system to a remote server and to receive at least one of a new calibration function and new calibration parameters for the vehicle from the remote server.

  • Patent number: 12150644
Abstract: A suture clip includes a disc body having at least two adjacent portions joined by a hinge at one end and a latch at another end. Suture engagement surfaces are formed on a first and second portion of the disc body so that the first and second suture engagement surfaces can close sufficiently tightly to immobilize a pair of suture lengths therebetween when the two portions are closed and held together by the latch. A suture clip applier holds a plurality of such suture clips typically in a magazine, an open configuration where the suture engagement surfaces are held apart. Single suture clips are advanced by an advancement mechanism over a pair of suture ends having a midsection in tissue. A closing mechanism closes and latches the first and second portions of the disc body together to capture the pair of suture ends therebetween.

  • Patent number: 12153669
Abstract: One example method includes data protection operations including cyber security operations, threat detection operations, and other security operations. Normal device behavior is learned based on data collected by an anomaly detection engine operating in a kernel. The normal data is used to train a machine learning model. Threats are detected when the machine learning model indicates that new data points deviate from normal device behavior. Associated processes are stopped. This allows threats to be detected based on normal behavior rather than on unknown threat behavior.

  • Patent number: 12150899
Abstract: A laser system calibration method and system are provided. In some methods, a calibration plate may be used to calibrate a video camera of the laser system. The video camera pixel locations may be mapped to the physical space. A xy-scan device of the laser system may be calibrated by defining control parameters for actuating components of the xy-scan device to scan a beam to a series of locations. Optionally, the beam may be scanned to a series of locations on a fluorescent plate. The video camera may be used to capture reflected light from the fluorescent plate. The xy-scan device may then be calibrated by mapping the xy-scan device control parameters to physical locations. A desired z-depth focus may be determined by defining control parameters for focusing a beam to different depths. The video camera or a confocal detector may be used to detect the scanned depths.

  • Patent number: 12153689
Abstract: Examples of enrollment of virtual devices for unprivileged users are described. In some examples, a virtual device includes an enrollment agent, encrypted enrollment credentials, and a user mode privilege elevation component that elevates privilege of the enrollment agent. A privilege elevated token is created to include an administrative privilege of a local security authority service, and a security context of an unprivileged user account logged in to the virtual device. The enrollment agent is launched using the privilege elevated token rather than a user token of a user that is logged in. The enrollment agent decrypts the encrypted enrollment credentials based on administrative privilege of the privilege elevated token, and enrolls the virtual device with a management service using decrypted enrollment credentials.

  • Patent number: 12151974
Abstract: Mineral fines reduce OPC content in concrete, mortar and other cementitious compositions, typically in combination with a pozzolanically active SCM. Mineral fines can replace and/or augment a portion of hydraulic cement and/or fine aggregate. Mineral fines can replace a portion of cement binder and fine aggregate as an intermediate that fills a size void between largest cement particles and smallest fine aggregate particles. Supplemental lime can enhance balance of calcium ions in the mix water and/or pore solution. Supplemental sulfate can address sulfate deficiencies caused by high clinker reduction, use of water reducers and/or superplasticizers, and SCMs containing aluminates. Concentrated or pure carbon dioxide (CO2) can be used to passivate alkaline values in highly alkaline materials, such as concrete washout fines, CKD, class C flyash, incinerator ash, bottom ash, or biomass ash.
