Abstract: Ladders, feet for ladders and related methods are described herein. In one embodiment, a ladder is provided that includes, a first rail and a second rail, a plurality of rungs extending between and coupled to the first rail and the second rail, a first foot coupled with the first rail. The first foot includes a lower tread portion, a first wall is coupled with the lower tread portion and positioned adjacent a first surface of the first rail. A first boss is positioned against a second surface of the first rail. A first fastener extends through the first wall, through the first surface and second surface of the rail, and into the first boss.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to video coding/decoding and particularly for providing extension to block adaptive weighted prediction (BAWP). One method includes receiving a coded video bitstream; determining, based on a syntax element signaled in the coded video bitstream, a prediction mode for predicting the current block based on a reference block, wherein the prediction mode comprises a linear equation; deriving a scaling factor for the current block, from at least one of the following: multiple scaling factors of neighboring blocks with respect to the current block, or a stored scaling factor bank; and reconstructing the current block based on the reference block and the identified scaling factor according to the linear equation.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for remote activation of an automated teller machine (ATM) to dispense cash to a customer. The customer may stage a transaction using a mobile application on a mobile device. Upon the staged transaction being authenticated and approved, the customer may visit the ATM. The customer may capture an image being displayed on a display of the ATM using a camera of the mobile device. The captured image may be sent to an application server from the mobile device. The application server may associate the ATM with the staged transaction that is staged using the mobile application, and send instructions to the ATM to dispense cash according to the staged transaction.

Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include an input device, a processor, and a memory on which is stored machine-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to determine that an input data has been received from or collected by the input device. The instructions may also cause the processor to determine that the input data is to be synced with data on a remote apparatus. In addition, based on a determination that the input data is to be synced, the processor may encrypt the input data and may output the encrypted input data.

Abstract: This invention is a method for detecting AI-written material which evaluates authorship more directly than purely machine-based methods of AI detection. This method automatically selects relatively-rare key words and/or phrases used in a submitted body of text which is asserted to have been written by a specific person and creates a test to measure understanding of those key words and/or phrases which is administered to that person.

Abstract: An analog resonator system for generating electromagnetic energy includes a capacitor assembly and a power transformer for supplying electrical potential to the capacitor assembly. The capacitor assembly includes a first capacitor plate, a second capacitor plate and a dielectric insulator plate. The capacitor plates are formed from a first conductive metal material and from a second conductive metal material dissimilar from the first conductive metal material. An analog PEMF therapy device includes the analog resonator system, a bulb electrically connected between the capacitor assembly and the power transformer, and a base electrically connected between the capacitor assembly and the power transformer.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for user car wash preferences is disclosed. The apparatus includes a processor and memory. The processor is configured to receive vehicle and user data for use during a car wash. The processor further receives sensor data and adjusts an operational parameter of a car wash component based on the user data and sensor data. The processor further alters an operational state of the car wash component based on the user data, the sensor data, and the adjustment to the operational parameter.

Abstract: An air quality monitoring and control method includes providing at least one sensor inside of an enclosure; providing an advisor module configured to receive data from the at least one sensor; providing at least one airflow control valve regulating air between inside and outside of the enclosure; and controlling, by the advisor module, the at least one airflow control valve based on the data received from the at least one sensor to control air quality within the enclosure. Alternatively, the method includes providing at least one sensor inside of the enclosure, the at least one sensor including a dust sensor; providing a stand-alone recirculation filtration device in the enclosure; providing an advisor module configured to receive data from the dust sensor; and controlling, by the advisor module, the stand-alone recirculation filtration device or an HVAC fan based on the data received from the dust sensor.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for an authentication mechanism that uses cryptographic tokens and eye-tracking data. In particular, the disclosed mechanism may receive an authentication request that includes an identifier of a cryptographic token and retrieve eye-tracking data and an image associated with the cryptographic token. The eye-tracking data may store various coordinates within the image and may be encoded for use in authentication. The disclosed mechanism may then transmit the image to a computing device (e.g., associated with a user) that is able to perform gaze detection as part of an authentication operation. In response, the disclosed mechanism may receive user gaze data collected during the authentication operation and determine whether the eye-tracking data matches the user gaze data. Based on determining that the eye-tracking data matches the user gaze data, the disclosed mechanism may transmit to the computing device an indication of successful authentication.

Abstract: Examples of golf bags and methods to manufacture stand golf bags are generally described herein. A golf bag may include a body portion. A first leg and a second leg may be pivotally coupled to the body portion and moveable between a retracted position against the body portion and a deployed position away from the body portion. The first leg may couple with a first foot portion having a first leg retention portion configured to aid in retaining the first leg in the retracted position through magnetic attraction between the first leg retention portion and the body portion. The second leg may couple with a second foot portion having a second leg retention portion configured to aid in retaining the second leg in the retracted position through magnetic attraction between the second leg retention portion and the body portion. Abstract: A system and method are provided for routing content requests. On a given server network, content requests comprising a character string may be routed up a hierarchical network topology until a linear chain, corresponding to the character string, is identified. Thus, the content request is forwarded up the hierarchy until an intersecting server network is reached. Then the content request is forwarded down the hierarchy until, along a published linear chain corresponding to the character string, until a content source is reached. Content is provided to the requestor along a reverse path of the content request.

Abstract: A fluidic coolant system for a fuel cell stack that includes a fluidic pump, a heat exchanger, and an ion exchange filter housing assembly is described. A fluidic outlet of the heat exchanger is fluidly coupled to the fluidic pump, and a fluidic inlet of the heat exchanger is fluidly coupled to the fuel cell stack. The fluidic pump is arranged to supply coolant from the heat exchanger to the fuel cell stack and the ion exchange filter housing assembly.

Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method generate personalized text based on statistics derived from input received from a user representing the user's attempts to decode graphemes into phonemes. Such statistics may be measured and recorded at the grapheme-phoneme level, and may include substitutions, insertions, deletions, and correct utterances of phonemes by the user when reading text. A language model may be trained based on characteristics of the user, such as the user's age and/or reading grade level, and the personalized text may be generated after such training of the language model. Generating the personalized text may include generating a text creation prompt based on the statistics. The resulting text creation prompt may include a set of target words. The text creation prompt may be provided to the language model, which may generate the personalized text in response. The personalized text may include some or all of the target words.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automated surveillance of a fleet of vehicles in a parking area using vehicle sensors on various fleet vehicles. In particular, the vehicles in a parking area can be observed and monitored using sensors on a subset of the vehicles. The field of view of each vehicle and overall map coverage of a parking area can be used to determine which vehicles to use for surveillance and/or which sensors on various vehicles to use for surveillance. Thus, surveillance can be optimized using fleet knowledge of vehicle locations within a facility and the scope of coverage of various vehicle sensors to determine where there is overlap in coverage. Appropriate sensors on certain vehicles can be selectively activated to maintain secure coverage without burning resources unnecessarily.

When executed by the processor, alone or in combination with other processors, the instructions cause the server to implement a service to: receive multiple media files from a presentation application on a client device; restructure content of the media files into a form compatible with a generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool; with the prompt generation engine, structure a prompt to the generative AI tool using the content of the media files in the form compatible with the generative AI tool, the prompt comprising an instruction to generate new content by fusing content from the multiple media files; receive the new content from the generative AI tool; and transmit the new content to the presentation application on the client device to augment a presentation being generated with the presentation application.

Abstract: A media application derives a bystander mask from an image by analyzing the image with a bystander segmentation model, wherein the image depicts a bystander and the bystander mask identifies a plurality of first pixels in the image that are associated with the bystander. The media derives a shadow mask for the bystander by analyzing the image with a shadow segmentation model, wherein the image and the bystander mask are provided as input to the shadow segmentation model, and wherein the shadow mask identifies a plurality of second pixels in the image that are associated with a shadow of the bystander. The media application modifies the image to update pixel values of the plurality of first pixels and the plurality of second pixels such that the bystander and the shadow are erased from the image.

Abstract: Provided is a battery module and battery rack having enhanced fire safety features. The battery module includes a swelling/pressure sensor that detects swelling of a battery cell. An output signal of the sensor is used to halt operation of a battery rack/battery system containing the battery module and prevent charging and discharging of the battery module. In an embodiment. the battery module uses an AC-to-AC power supply to provide AC frequency power for balancing battery cells of the battery module. In an embodiment. the battery rack includes an internal water fire suppression system that provides battery cooling in the event of a battery cell fire to prevent the spread and/or reigniting of the fire.

Abstract: A vehicle transaction support system operates by: receiving vehicle source data indicating vehicles available from at least one vehicle source; filtering the vehicle source data based on vehicle filter parameters and generating filtered vehicle source data responsive thereto indicating a plurality of the vehicles; generating, based on vehicle requirements data and the filtered vehicle source data and utilizing a vehicle scoring engine having at least one artificial intelligence (AI) model trained via machine learning, filtered and scored vehicle source data that indicates scores associated with the plurality of the vehicles; receiving, via a graphical user interface, vehicle selection data corresponding to selected ones of the plurality of the vehicles; generating, in respond to the vehicle selection data, vehicle bid data corresponding to the selected ones of the plurality of the vehicles; and sending the vehicle bid data to the at least one vehicle source.
