Abstract: According to an embodiment, the present application provides a method for marketing campaigns utilizing a tokenization framework, which relies on smart contracts for its operations. This method starts by accepting a campaign budget, which is for initiating the setup of a smart contract associated with this budget. The smart contract is responsible for the conversion of this budget into tokens, which are earmarked for distribution to users who enroll in the campaign. Operations of the smart contract include the periodic identification and verification of user-generated content relevant to the campaign. This is achieved by examining specific reference tags linked to the content. The smart contract evaluates the effectiveness of the content by analyzing engagement metrics, such as the number of views, likes, and comments. Based on these metrics, the smart contract calculates the appropriate token rewards for each participant.

Abstract: A media application derives a bystander mask from an image by analyzing the image with a bystander segmentation model, wherein the image depicts a bystander and the bystander mask identifies a plurality of first pixels in the image that are associated with the bystander. The media derives a shadow mask for the bystander by analyzing the image with a shadow segmentation model, wherein the image and the bystander mask are provided as input to the shadow segmentation model, and wherein the shadow mask identifies a plurality of second pixels in the image that are associated with a shadow of the bystander. The media application modifies the image to update pixel values of the plurality of first pixels and the plurality of second pixels such that the bystander and the shadow are erased from the image.

Abstract: Systems and methods for secure authentication information retrieval. In some aspects, the system receives a request for accessing authentication information for an authentication token. The system retrieves a user profile for the user comprising token identifiers for authentication tokens associated with the user and authentication information for each authentication token. The system receives an indication that a near field communication (NFC) interaction has been initiated between the user device and the authentication token. The system determines whether the authentication token is associated with the user and renders the authentication information into a graphical overlay. The system may additionally transmit the graphical overlay for displaying the authentication information over an image of the authentication token captured via an imaging sensor included in the user device.

Abstract: A drive sense circuit (DSC) includes an analog front end (AFE) circuit, a filter circuit, and a data processing circuit. The AFE circuit includes a signal source circuit and a comparison circuit. The signal source circuit, when enabled and coupled to a sensor, provides an analog drive signal to the sensor, which affects an electrical property of the analog drive signal. The comparison circuit compares the analog drive signal as effected by the sensor to a reference signal and produces an analog sensed signal that represents the effected electrical property of the analog drive signal. The filter filters the analog sensed signal to produce a filtered sensed signal. The data processing circuit operably generates a digital value representative of sensed characteristic of the sensor based on the filtered sensed signal.

Abstract: Systems for automatic speech recognition and/or natural language understanding automatically learn new words by finding subsequences of phonemes that, if they were a new word, would enable a successful tokenization of a phoneme sequence. Systems can learn alternate pronunciations of words by finding phoneme sequences with a small edit distance to existing pronunciations. Systems can learn the part of speech of words by finding part-of-speech variations that would enable parses by syntactic grammars. Systems can learn what types of entities a word describes by finding sentences that could be parsed by a semantic grammar but for the words not being on an entity list.

Abstract: A technique serves information items associated with at least two item-serving modes using shared resources. For example, the technique delivers dynamic search ads in a dynamic search ad (DSA) mode using processing resources that were originally developed for serving text ads in a text ad (TA) mode. In a first aspect, the technique repurposes a part of the TA-mode processing flow to find a set of landing pages associated with a query. In a second aspect, the technique performs further processing based on output results generated by the TA-mode processing flow, with the objective of identifying a set of landing pages associated with the query. Overall, the technique reduces the consumption of resources in the serving of ads, and simplifies the maintenance of an ad-serving system. The technique also allows one mode to use algorithmic advances developed for use in another mode.
