Abstract: A system provides intelligent gallery management for biometrics. A first gallery is obtained that includes biometric and/or other information on a population of people. An application is identified. A subset of the population of people is identified based on the application. A second gallery is derived from the first gallery by pulling the information for the subset of the population of people without pulling the information for the population of people not in the subset. Biometric identification (such as facial recognition) for the application may then be performed using the second gallery rather than the first gallery. In this way, the system is improved as less time is required for biometric identification, fewer device resources are used, and so on.

Abstract: A three-dimensional memory device includes an alternating stack of insulating layers and electrically conductive layers located over a substrate, memory stack structures vertically extending through the alternating stack, etch stop plates located in the staircase region, laterally and vertically spaced apart among one another, and overlying an end portion of a respective one of the electrically conductive layers, and contact via structures located in a staircase region, vertically extending through a respective one of the etch stop plates, and contacting a respective one of the electrically conductive layers.

Abstract: An injection delivery device involves a body, a medication-containing vial within at least a portion of the body, the medication-containing vial having an open end and a closed end opposite the open end. The open end of the vial includes a seal that prevents medication contained therein from exiting the vial until delivery of the medication to a target injection site is desired. The injection delivery device also includes a plunger positioned near the open end of the vial and a needle having a passage therethrough, wherein the needle, plunger and vial are positioned relative to each other such that, during delivery of an injection, a portion of the passage will be within the plunger, and the plunger and needle will remain stationary relative to each other while the vial moves relative the plunger in a direction towards the target injection site.

Abstract: An air filtration apparatus includes an airflow powerhead assembly including a fan assembly and a vane assembly, a filter assembly, and a separator chamber housing inside of which the filter assembly is disposed. The separator chamber housing has a chamber inlet at a first axial side and a clean air outlet at a second axial side of the separator chamber housing opposite the first axial side. The filter assembly has a first axial end adjacent the chamber inlet and a second axial end adjacent the clean air outlet. The separator chamber housing includes at least one debris ejection slot extension configured to eject debris from an inner space of the separator chamber housing. The filter assembly includes a debris catch tray disposed at the second axial end, the debris catch tray having a debris ejection slot aligned with the at least one debris ejection slot extension.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides catalyst compositions for NOx conversion and wall-flow filter substrates comprising such catalyst compositions. Certain catalyst compositions include a zeolite with sufficient Cu exchanged into cation sites thereof to give a Cu/Al ratio of 0.1 to 0.5 and a CuO loading of 1 to 15 wt. %; and a copper trapping component (e.g., alumina) including a plurality of particles having a D90 particle size of about 0.5 to 20 microns in a concentration of about 1 to 20 wt. %. The zeolite and copper trapping component can be in the same washcoat layer or can be in different washcoat layers (such that the copper trapping component serves as a “pre-coating” on the wall-flow filter substrate).

Abstract: In some implementations, a monitoring device may obtain information related to one or more extract, transform, and load (ETL) jobs scheduled in an ETL system. The monitoring device may generate ETL job metrics that include status information, timing information, and data volume information associated with one or more constituent tasks associated with the one or more ETL jobs, wherein the ETL job metrics include metrics related to extracting data records from a data source, transforming the data records into a target format, and/or loading the data records in the target format into a data sink. The monitoring device may enable capabilities to create or interact with one or more dashboards to visualize the ETL job metrics via a workspace accessible to one or more client devices. The monitoring device may invoke a messaging service to publish one or more notifications associated with the ETL job metrics via the workspace.

Abstract: Load measuring hitch assemblies are disclosed and described. In one embodiment, the assembly can include a body portion operable to facilitate coupling the load measuring hitch assembly to a tow vehicle. The assembly can also include at least one load cell operable to measure force in at least one measurement axis. Additionally, the assembly can include a ball portion having a ball operable to facilitate coupling the load measuring hitch assembly to a trailer. The ball portion and the body portion can be coupled to one another via the at least one load cell and a pin slot joint. The pin slot joint can provide relative motion between the ball portion and the body portion in a rotational degree of freedom about a first axis and a translational degree of freedom along a second axis. The first and second axes can be orthogonal to one another.

The invention also provides compositions comprising nucleotide sequences that are diagnostic for MON87460 in a sample, methods for detecting the presence of MON87460 event polynucleotides in a sample, and probes and primers for use in detecting nucleotide sequences that are diagnostic for the presence of MON87460 in a sample. The present invention also provides methods of breeding with MON87460 to produce water deficit tolerance corn plants.

Abstract: Described examples relate to an apparatus comprising a memory for storing a sequence of image frames and at least one processor. The at least one processor may be configured to receive a first image frame of a sequence of image frames from an image capture device and select a first portion of a first image frame. The at least one processor may also be configured to obtain alignment information and determine a first portion and a second portion of a second image frame based on the alignment information. Further, the at least one processor may be configured to determine a bounding region within the second image frame and fetch image data corresponding to the bounding region of the second image frame from memory. In some examples, the first image frame may comprise a base image and the second image frame may comprise an alternative image frame. Further, the first image frame may comprise any one of the image frames of the sequence of image frames.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable automated and predictive generation of shortcuts to network resources by receiving a content part of a network resource based on a user selection of a link. Monitoring user interactions with the content part are monitored to produce user interaction data, and a usage parameter is determined based on the user interaction data. When a value of the user usage parameter exceeds a threshold value, a network resource content classification associated with the link is automatically generated based at least in part on a content classification machine learning model trained to classify the content part, the network resource, or both, based at least in part on a content similarity to an existing stored network resource identifier. A stored network resource identifier is automatically generated for the link in a network resource group of a user profile associated with the network resource content classification.
