Abstract: An infrared detection camera for the inspection of coated substrates. A corrosion sensing instrument is handheld, portable, battery powered, compact and lightweight. The camera performs nondestructive, real time imaging of corrosion and defects beneath painted metal or plastics or composite surfaces. The device includes a user-friendly computer interface for real time imaging and image storage capability and is typically used for detecting early stage corrosion beneath painted aircraft aluminum surfaces. The handheld device has a front “open air” imaging port which is designed to be placed in soft contact against the painted surface to be inspected by the instrument. The device includes an infrared camera and infrared lighting to capture an image of the surface. The captured image is transferred to a computer and analyzed to locate imperfections below a coating on a surface.

Abstract: A case management system and method of managing and organizing documents within the case portfolio for efficient review includes data that is dynamically updated to result in a final report that includes real-time updated data. The system collects and displays the data on a secure portal for interactivity with a professional stakeholder reviewing the data. The data is automatically transformed into different formats when received, including a standard text-and-image file, a text-only file, and an image-only file, thereby allowing the reviewing stakeholder to interact with the data in multiple ways. As the system translates the document into different viewable formats, the system automatically scans the data within the document for important information, such as dates, times, names, locations, and other important pieces of information. The system then assigns date-and-time associations with each document, and automatically organizes the documents in a chronological order on a display.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for accessing resources of a Unified Endpoint Management (“UEM”) system through an enrolled device. In an example, an unenrolled device can be paired with an enrolled device. The unenrolled device can connect to the enrolled device on a local network. The enrolled device can verify the unenrolled device using a key provided during pairing. The unenrolled device can send requests for UEM resources to the enrolled device, which the enrolled device can send to a UEM server. The UEM server can send the requested UEM resources to the enrolled device, and the enrolled device can send the UEM resources to the enrolled device over the local network.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to III-V semiconductor trench MOSFETs comprising a buried field shield. The invention is further directed to an etch and regrowth method for forming this buried field shield. For example, in III-V trench MOSFETs with an n-type substrate, the region can be formed by an etch into the drift (n-type) and regrowth of p-type semiconductor to form the buried field shield in the trench area and a body/channel outside the trench area. With a narrow trench feature size, the regrowth will planarize enabling subsequent source epitaxy (n-type) without requiring ex-situ processing between body/channel and source growths, eliminating the need for additional masking of the regrowth.

Abstract: An immersion cooling system includes an immersion tank defining an immersion chamber therein, an immersion working fluid, an energy source, an optical sensor, and a microcontroller. The immersion working fluid is positioned at least partially in the immersion chamber and the immersion working fluid has a liquid phase and a vapor phase. The energy source is positioned and oriented to direct an infrared beam through a portion of the vapor phase with a beam path and path length. The optical sensor is positioned in the beam path. The microcontroller is configured to determine vapor concentration in the immersion chamber based at least partially on data from the path length, the optical sensor, and the energy source.

Abstract: A method for assessing nerve health during a spinal decompression procedure includes: accessing a database containing historical patient data; receiving patient data of a target patient; identifying a subset of historical patients with similar pre-operative characteristics; generating an individualized target range for at least one nerve function parameter based on the subset; measuring an actual nerve function parameter of the target patient during the procedure; and displaying a graphical representation of the measured parameter relative to the individualized target range.
Abstract: A quick-attachment/quick-release firearm accessory mounting assembly releasably and rotatably attached to a firearm rail, chassis, or handgun slide to receive any of a number of different accessories, such as, a telescopic sight, reflector sight, laser sight, night vision sight, thermal scope, range finder, and other secondary instruments. The mounting assembly is in the form of an adaptor plate having attachment structures for receiving the accessory on a top surface, and securing to the firearm structure on a bottom surface. The firearm is modified to receive the adaptor plate, the firearm frame having a recess portion with a center protrusion in rotatable communication with a center aperture in the adaptor plate, and having grooves or slots formed at each end of the recess portion to receive flanges at each end of the adaptor plate upon rotation.
Abstract: A novel system includes an intelligent process anomaly detection and trend projection system which is configured to train artificial intelligence and machine learning systems for anomaly prediction in industrial systems according to some embodiments. In some embodiments, such intelligent process anomaly detection and trend projection system is configured to determine an estimated remaining useful life of an industrial asset. For example, in some embodiments, the system is configured to identify a degradation part of the signal and a normal part of the signal; separate the degradation part of the signal from the normal part of the signal; identify one or more patterns of a degradation part of the signal and the normal part of the signal; and determine an anomaly prediction based on the one or more patterns.

Abstract: Various methods are provided for an electric motor including a coolant jacket molded to a stator. In one embodiment, the method comprises flowing a coolant to an annular coolant passage formed between a stator and a coolant jacket molded directly to the stator, and spraying the coolant toward the stator from a nozzle formed in a spray ring molded integrally with the coolant jacket.
Abstract: A vehicle configured to transfer energy to a building is disclosed. The vehicle may include a transceiver and a processor. The transceiver may receive temperature information and demand information associated with a power grid. The processor may determine that a first predefined condition may be met based on the demand information. The processor may then calculate a first amount of energy to be transferred to the building based on the temperature information, and cause the vehicle to transfer the first amount of energy to the building. The processor may further determine that a second predefined condition may be met based on the first amount of energy and/or vehicle availability information, and determine a second amount of energy to be transferred to the building based on the temperature information. The processor may then cause the vehicle to transfer the second amount of energy to the building.

Abstract: Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing easy digital subscriber line (“DSL”) signal detection. In various embodiments, after a connector of a signal detector has been inserted into a network service port, a processor of the signal detector may determine whether at least one C-tone is present on at least one signal wire communicatively coupled to the network service port, the at least one C-tone being indicative of network service being ready for provision via the at least one signal wire. If so, the processor of the signal detector may cause a display device to indicate to a user that the network service port is ready to provide the network service. A modem can then be installed by connecting with the network service port. The connector, the processor, and the display device are integrated within a single, compact, handheld form factor of the signal detector.
